Commander’s Corner:
This month in Superkid Academy we have been reviewing and teaching our core value “We honor God.” Our theme for August is called Top Ten! We are reviewing the ten commandments with the children. This week we are learning how to honor God by not stealing or lying. We will be looking at our perfect example of truth: Jesus! Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life! We hope to see your child this Sunday in Superkid Academy.
Wednesday Night:
School is back in session and so are fall electives! Our Wednesday night classes will consist of the following courses for 1st-5th grade:
Salute – Superkids will learn all about what honor is and how to show honor!
Faith Gym – Superkids will learn how to be healthy spirit, soul, and body!
And Action! – Superkids will learn about production from scriptwriting all the way to the final product!
Basic Training – Our 1st & 2nd graders will be “working out their core” this semester by reviewing the EMIC core values in a small group setting with hands on activities.
Chandra Hayes
Ms. Chandra has been faithfully serving in the 5 years – kindergarten class for quite a while, and her love for the Superkids is so evident! She always has fun playing and doing arts and crafts with the kids. Chandra is a dependable volunteer whom rely on often. She also serves during events such as Vacation Bible School and SWBC! Ms. Chandra, we are so grateful that you’re part of our team! Thank you for all that you do for the Lord and for our Superkids.
SKA Dance Team Tryouts:
