Radiant Happenings! April 18th

It's been an amazing, yet bittersweet week. We had a wonderful Radiant meeting where we concluded unpacking the last of Pastor Terri's message from back in January. Then we had a GREAT Radiant Day Out at the American Journey Museum, followed by a POWERFUL message by Pastor George on Sunday! Then the bittersweet moment came on Monday, when we heard the news that Brother Jerry Savelle had transitioned home to Heaven. Yet one thing remains true through all of those events – God is a GOOD God, and He LOVES each of us intimately!

Now for this week's verse in Proverbs 2:

"That He may guard the paths of justice; yes, He preserves the way of His saints." Proverbs 2:8 (AMPC)

God's way works. His ways of wisdom – the principles of His kingdom and of His Spirit – cause a shield to rise up before you protecting you from the devils, dangers, turmoil and stress that are here on this earth. That's why walking in God's wisdom makes life worth living.

The Bible promises us that God knows how to deliver the righteous. No matter what kind of danger, financial disaster, or natural calamity threatens a nation, God knows how to deliver those who walk in obedience to Him. And that is what the Bible is saying in verse 8 – He preserves the way of His saints.

Listen to what the Kesuvim / The Writings (Mishlei/Proverbs) on pg. 17 say about verse eight:

Vs. 8 "To safeguard the paths of justice, for He protects the way of His devout ones. Through Torah, a devout person keeps the paths of justice. God, in turn, will protect him so that he will not stumble. (Rashi)."
