Radiant Happenings! January 18th

I pray you have been able to attend the past few meetings we had with Dr. Billye Brim, and Brother Rick Renner! They both shared some amazing insights on Israel and the end days! Now more than ever we need to be heeding God's Word, and these blog posts I have been doing on Proverbs are filled with warnings from God!

Take a look at what our next few verses in Proverbs 1 say:

"Because I have called and you have refused [to answer], have stretched out my hand and no man has heeded it, 25 And you treated as nothing all my counsel and would accept none of my reproof, 26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when the thing comes that shall cause you terror and panic–" Proverbs 1:24-26 (AMPC)

God may deal with you about something that no one else would think anything about. But if you want to grow in God, be quick to hear and change even the little things. For instance, if you spoke too harshly to someone, face up to it. Be quick to erase the offense by asking the person's forgiveness. Call that person on the telephone and say, "I'm sorry I said that to you. I shouldn't have been so harsh. I shouldn't have gotten out of love." That's the way to be blessed and to walk in the wisdom of God!

Listen to what the Kesuvim / The Writings (Mishlei/Proverbs) on pg. 12 & 13 say about verses twenty-four to twenty-five:

Vs. 24 "But because I have called you and you refused; because I have stretched forth my hand and no one listened. I reached out to you to return to me, like someone beckoning his friend by extending his hand (Rashi), and you refused to heed my call (Metzudos)

"The verb, I have called, implies that someone is still close enough to hear a call. Thus, chochmah declares, "I called you when you were still close, but you refused to listen. Even when you were far away, I stretched out my hand to signal you to come back, but you pretended not to see or hear" (Vilna Gaon)."

Vs. 25 "And you rejected my every counsel, and desired not my reproof. You neglected my advice, which was intended to make you great in the world (Rashi; see Deuteronomy 4:6)Not only did you refuse to repent, you rejected my counsel when others appealed to you, with the result that you influenced them to sin (Radak)."
