Commander’s Corner:
This week in our series “Measure Up,” Superkids will learn about a faith giant: Noah! By faith, Noah obeyed the instructions God gave him. His faith was rewarded with the protection of his family. Superkids will learn how faith in the Word of God will give them protection throughout their lives. Remember to encourage your Superkid to memorize this month’s memory verse!
Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of thing hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
We are having a talent show on Sunday, April 30th. Remind your Superkid to sign up in SKA and share their talents with their peers!
Wednesday Nights:
Our Elective pin-pal party is happening on Wednesday, April 26th! All 1st-5th graders will receive elective pins for the classes they participated in.
SKA Camp:
Attention all 1st-5th graders! It’s time to dive into the Word of God at Superkid Academy Camp 2023 in Huntsville, TX! Our theme this year is God’s Masterpiece! Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
Our superkids will learn that they are God’s masterpiece- they are loved, blessed, chosen, and a child of God!
As always one of our rules is to have fun! There will be fun activities like: zip-lining, fishing, swimming and more!
Camp will kick off Sunday, May 28th in the main sanctuary. Camp dates are May 28th-June 1st on the beautiful grounds of Forest Glen Camp.
Age requirements: 1st–5th grade (children graduating from 1st grade into 2nd through children graduating from 5th grade into 6th).
