As of the day this blog posts (Thur. 7/27), we will be FOUR days away from the start of the Southwest Believers Convention (SWBC)! Are you excited? Do you have your expectations up? Are you attending in person?? All three of these questions are SOOOO important!! Why? I'm so glad you asked!!
Take a look at this portion of scripture:
"The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the [whole] person; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. 8 The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure and bright, enlightening the eyes. 9 The [reverent] fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the ordinances of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. 10 More to be desired are they than gold, even than much fine gold; they are sweeter also than honey and drippings from the honeycomb.” Psalm 19:7-10 (AMPC)
At SWBC, we are about to get a major washing in the water of the Word! Based on the scripture above, this should bring us great excitement and should cause us to be expecting NOW to receive revelation knowledge from the Word of God that week! While you can do this by watching the live-stream, keep this in mind – every year I see the Holy Spirit use one of the speakers to give a Word to somebody in the audience. If you aren't there, you close the door for the Lord to bring a Word to you! I have a saying, "Don't pass up an opportunity to be a meeting that you are able to be at!" When you are faithful to show up, God is faithful to make sure you are BLESSED during your time soaking in His Word!!
