Beloved – that is what you are to our Heavenly Father – BELOVED! However, when is the last time you truly took time to sit and reflect on that truth? If it’s been a while, stop right now and do so. As you do, let this scripture be a part of that meditation,
“Look with wonder at the depth of the Father’s marvelous love that He has lavished on us! He has called us and made us His very own beloved children. The reason the world doesn’t recognize who we are is that they didn’t recognize Him. 2Beloved, we are God’s children right now; however, it is not yet apparent what we will become. But we do know that when it is finally made visible, we will be just like Him, for we will see Him as He truly is.” 1 John 3:1-2 (TPT)
Now, here’s a look at what is happening this week into next with other Radiant groups!
- Sunday, July 3rd is our Marriage Re-Envisioned group for single women. Come join us as we learn the essentials of preparing for marriage. Whether you are single, divorced or widowed we have a place for you! We meet every 1st & 3rd Sunday right after service in the Living Room modular. You may bring lunch with you.
- Tuesday, July 5th we have our Table Talk (65 and beyond) group. This group is for women (65 years of age and beyond). We have fellowship around the Word of God, and with each other. They meet at 11:00am in the Hospitality Room every 1st Tuesday.
- Tuesday, July 5th our Bridge Moms meet to cook the meal for our Bridge Young Adults group. This group requires a food handlers license, so if you are interested in joining, please reach out directly to Pastor Cathy: cgrigg@emic.org
- Wednesday, July 6th is our Radiant Bible Study. Enjoy the Word of God, and good teaching with other women of EMIC. We meet every 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month in the Hospitality Room at 10:30am.
On a different note, my husband and I will be teaching a 12-week course on The Gifts and Ministry of Holy Spirit beginning Sunday, July 3rd at 8:30am.
