Pastor George Pearsons

Sunday Outline – October 15, 2023

Pastor George ministered, “Let My People Go!

  • The atrocities inflicted upon the Jews by Hamas have been beyond belief.
  • More than 1,300 Israeli’s have been slaughtered.
  • Men, women, children and babies taken hostage is horrific.

These actions have been unthinkable. Ungodly. Devilish and demonic.

To help you understand what truth is, and to pray in the spirit of faith for people and the government, please look at: https://www.israel365.com/

Much time has been spent praying over the hostages. Believing that those who were taken hostage would return safely to their families. The greatest hope of their deliverance is the Deliverer Himself. God has much to say about setting captives free.

  • Israel has a covenant of deliverance with God.
  • We have a covenant of deliverance with God.
  • We must engage and invoke that covenant.

The Lord gave me a phrase found in the Word to speak over this hostage situation; “Let My People Go!”

Exodus 9:1-3; (NLT)

“Go back to Pharaoh,” the LORD commanded Moses. “Tell him, ‘This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: LET MY PEOPLE GO, so they can worship me. If you continue to hold them and refuse to let them go, the hand of the LORD will strike…”

In the KJV, worship is translated serve.

Vv. 2-3 (MSG) “If you refuse to release them and continue to hold on to them, I'm giving you fair warning: GOD will come down hard…”

Vv. 2-3 (ESV) “For if you refuse to let them go and still hold them, behold, the hand of the LORD will fall…”

The longer they hold the people, the greater the consequences will be. Hear the voice of God:

Isaiah 49:22-26; (NLT)

“This is what the Sovereign LORD says: “See, I will give a signal to the godless nations.” They WILL carry your little sons back to you in their arms; they WILL bring your daughters on their shoulders. Kings and queens will serve you and care for all your needs. They WILL bow to the earth before you and lick the dust from your feet. Then you will know that I am the LORD. Those who trust in me will NEVER be put to shame.

Who can snatch the plunder of war from the hands of a warrior? Who can demand that a tyrant let his captives go?

But the LORD says, “The captives of warriors WILL be released, and the plunder of tyrants WILL be retrieved. For I WILL fight those who fight you, and I WILL save your children. I WILL feed your enemies with their own flesh. They will be drunk with rivers of their own blood. All the world WILL KNOW that I, the LORD, am your Savior and your Redeemer, THE MIGHTY ONE OF ISRAEL.”

Isaiah 51:14-16; (NLT)

“Soon all you captives will be released! Imprisonment, starvation, and death will not be your fate! For I am the LORD your God, who stirs up the sea, causing its waves to roar. MY NAME IS THE LORD OF HEAVEN’S ARMIES. And I have put my words in your mouth and hidden you safely in my hand. I stretched out the sky like a canopy and laid the foundations of the earth. I am the one who says to Israel, ‘YOU ARE MY PEOPLE!’”

Jeremiah 30:4-10; (NLT)

“This is the message the LORD gave concerning Israel and Judah. This is what the LORD says: “I hear cries of fear; there is terror and no peace. Now let me ask you a question: Do men give birth to babies? Then why do they stand there, ashen-faced, hands pressed against their sides like a woman in labor? In all history there has never been such a time of terror. It will be a time of trouble for my people Israel. Yet in the end they WILL be saved!

For in that day (2023),” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, “I WILL break the yoke from their necks and snap their chains. Foreigners WILL NO LONGER be their masters. For MY PEOPLE will serve the LORD their God and their king descended from David — the king I will raise up for them. “So do not be afraid, Jacob, my servant; do not be dismayed, Israel,” says the LORD. For I WILL BRING YOU HOME AGAIN from distant lands, and YOUR CHILDREN WILL RETURN FROM THEIR EXILE. Israel will return to a life of peace and quiet, and NO ONE WILL TERRORIZE THEM.”

Ezekiel 34:25-31; (NLT)

“I WILL make a covenant of peace with my people and drive away the dangerous animals (Hamas) from the land. Then they will be able to camp safely in the wildest places and sleep in the woods without fear. I will bless my people and their homes around my holy hill. And in the proper season I WILL send the showers they need. There will be showers of blessing. The orchards and fields of my people WILL yield bumper crops, and everyone will live in safety. When I have broken their chains of slavery and rescued them from those who enslaved them, then they will know that I am the LORD. They will no longer be prey for other nations, and wild animals WILL no longer devour them. They WILL live in safety, and NO ONE will frighten them. “And I will make their land famous for its crops, so my people will never again suffer from famines or the insults of foreign nations. In this way, they WILL know that I, the LORD their God, am with them. And they WILL know that they, the people of Israel, are my people, says the Sovereign LORD. You are my flock, the sheep of my pasture (My Land). YOU ARE MY PEOPLE, AND I AM YOUR GOD. I, THE SOVEREIGN LORD, HAVE SPOKEN!”

2 Samuel 22:49-51; (NKJV)

“He delivers me from my enemies. You also lift me up above those who rise against me; You have delivered me from the violent man.”

Hebrew = Hamas — cruel, unrighteous, physically violent, injurious and oppressive.

“Therefore I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the Gentiles, And sing praises to Your name. “He is the tower of salvation to His king, And shows mercy to His anointed, To David and his descendants forevermore.”

King David at Ziglag

Where do we find strength at this troubled time? The same place David did… in the Lord our God!

1 Samuel 30:1-2; (NLT)

“Three days later, when David and his men arrived home at their town of Ziklag, they found that the Amalekites had made a raid into the Negev and Ziklag; they had crushed Ziklag and burned it to the ground. They had carried off the women and children and everyone else but without killing anyone.”

Vv. 6-8 (NLT) “David was now in great danger because all his men were very bitter about losing their sons and daughters, and they began to talk of stoning him. But David found strength in the LORD his God.”

KJV – David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.

Then he said to Abiathar the priest, “Bring me the ephod!” So Abiathar brought it. Then David asked the LORD, “Should I chase after this band of raiders? Will I catch them?” And the LORD told him, “Yes, go after them. You will SURELY recover everything that was taken from you!”

Recover = Pursue. Overtake. Without fail, recover ALL.

Vv. 17-19 (NLT)

“David and his men rushed in among them and slaughtered them throughout that night and the entire next day until evening. None of the Amalekites escaped except 400 young men who fled on camels. David got back everything the Amalekites had taken, and he rescued his two wives. Nothing was missing: small or great, son or daughter, nor anything else that had been taken. David brought everything back.”

DAVID RECOVERED ALL!

Isaiah 49:9; (MSG)

“I tell prisoners, “Come on out. You're free!” and those huddled in fear, “It's all right. It's safe now.”

LET MY PEOPLE GO!

Release Angelic Armies

Engage your angel — don’t ignore your angel.

Psalm 91:9-11; (NLV)

“If you make the LORD your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go.”

Psalm 34:7; (NKJV)

“The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.”

Daniel 3:28; (NLT)

“Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise to the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego! He sent his angel to rescue his servants who trusted in him.”

Daniel 6:22; (NIV)

“My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty.”

Acts 5:19; (NLT)

“But an angel of the Lord came at night, opened the gates of the jail, and brought them out. Then he told them,”

Open your spiritual eyes and through faith, see angels working on the Jews behalf.  I believe they are going into “the hidden places” and bringing deliverance.  These angels will blind the enemy. Keep your eyes on the supernatural and speak to the spirits behind this (Mark 11:22-25).

Acts 12:7; (NLT)

“Suddenly, there was a bright light in the cell, and an angel of the Lord stood before Peter. The angel struck him on the side to awaken him and said, “Quick! Get up!” And the chains fell off his wrists.”

Vv. 8-10

“Then the angel told him, “Get dressed and put on your sandals.” And he did. “Now put on your coat and follow me,” the angel ordered. So Peter left the cell, following the angel. But all the time he thought it was a vision. He didn’t realize it was actually happening. They passed the first and second guard posts and came to the iron gate leading to the city, and this opened for them all by itself. So they passed through and started walking down the street, and then the angel suddenly left him.”

Psalm 103:20-21; (NLT)

“Praise the Lord, you angels, you mighty ones who carry out His planslistening for each of His commands. Yes, praise the Lord, you armies of angels who serve Him and do His will!”
