Pastor George Pearsons

Sunday Outline – June 11, 2023

This past Sunday Pastor George reminded us to “Take Authority Over Your Body.”

We come to the altar of God with our faith, to receive the healing ministry provided by Jesus.

Sickness is not placed on you by God, as He doesn’t have any. It is always His will, and His pleasure to heal. Your healing is already an accomplished fact, and we individually receive it by releasing our faith.

Isaiah 53:4-5; (KJV)

“Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we ARE healed.”

Wounded = tormented

Psalm 103:1-5

1 Peter 2:24;

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye WERE healed.”

Healing belongs to us — it IS God’s will according to God’s Word. However, we will never walk in the fullness of health until we make a demand on our covenant and possess it by faith.

“You must take authority over your own body.”

Genesis 1:26-28;

“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it.”

The Principles of First Mention in the Bible. The first time an important word or phrase is mentioned in the Bible is significant because the meaning behind that first mention often establishes a precedent or a pattern that can often be seen throughout the rest of the Bible. The first mention almost always contains the most complete and accurate meaning of the phrase.

Man was told to subdue the earth (First mention).

Subdue = Dominate; If it gets out of line, put it back.

Earth = Ground

Genesis 2:7 “And the Lord formed man of the dust of the ground.”

Our bodies were made from earth.

We must subdue that earth.

We must take authority over our body.

If it gets out of line, use words of faith to put it back. Lay hands on this earth (your body) and take dominion over it.

1 Corinthians 9:27;

I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection…”

I subdue my physical body and make if fully compliant to the will of the Master.  I talk to my body and tell it what it will eat, when it will exercise, and what it will do.

Paul refused to allow his body to dominate him.

  • (NLT) “I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should.”
  • (BBE) “I keep it under control.”
  • (AMPC) “Like a boxer, I buffet my body, handle it roughly, discipline it by hardships and subdue it.”

How did Paul bring his physical body into full compliance? Speaking.

2 Corinthians 4:13;

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.”

James 3:2-4;

“For in many things, we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.”

Bridle (GK) = To curb, control, keep in check, and to restrain.

(NIV-84)

“If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man [meaning a mature man], able to keep his whole body in check.”

(AMPC)

“For we all often stumble and fall and offend in many things. And if anyone does not offend in speech [never says the wrong things], he is a fully developed character and a perfect man, able to control his whole body and to curb his entire nature.”

Vv. 3-4 (NKJV)

“Indeed, we put bits in horses’ mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires.”

Your words of faith will cause situations within your body to come in line with God’s Word (His plan).

Proverbs 18:20-21;

A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

Matthew 12:37; (PGT)

“For by YOUR words you are healed and by YOUR words you are sick.”

Proverbs 12:18; (BBE)

“The tongue of the wise makes one well again.”

Proverbs 13:3; (NLT)

“Those who control their tongue will have a long life.”

Talk to your body and command it to get in line with God’s Word.

Don’t put up with sickness—or any part of the curse.

Don’t allow your body to talk to you. Get aggressive about it.

“I AM HEALED”

A Healing Confession by Kenneth Copeland

(Branson Victory Campaign Healing School, March 8, 2009)

I have the faith of God in me. All things are possible to me because I’m a believer. I’m not a doubter. I’m a receiver.

I’m a believer. I have it now. I release the faith given to me by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself: My Savior. My Lord. My Melchizedek. The High Priest of my life.

I release the faith. I release it against sin, death, the curse, sickness, disease, poverty, lack, debt. Leave my presence. Take your hand off my body. Release my mind. Release my will. Release my emotions. You will not touch my spirit. Release my finances. Release my family.

I pray the prayer of faith that whatsoever things I desire when I pray, which is right now, I believe I receive them. It is done for me now!

I receive total freedom in my head. I receive healing, deliverance and all that Jesus has ever done.

My eyes are healed. My ears are healed. My brain is healed and delivered from all foreign matter. Any chemicals that have worked their way into my body from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet are removed, dematerialized, and gone from my body.

I am free from the law of sin and death. The Son of the Living God has made me free, and I am a free person.

My throat is healed. My chest is healed. My lungs are healed. My esophagus is healed.

Nothing can stay in the vital organs of my body except the healing power of Jesus. My arms are healed. My hands are healed. Every joint in my body is renewed, restored, and delivered from disease, weakness, and pain.

I’m healed. My kidneys are healed. My spine is healed from my brain stem completely to the end of my spine. The disks, nerves, muscles all are healed and made well. My backbone is restored.

Psalm 103 declares “my youth is renewed like the eagles.”

My hips are well. My hip joints are restored. My knees are well. They are restored. My legs including my ankles, my feet, the bones of my feet and muscles, ligaments, nerves are restored and made well.

I receive these now by faith. It’s not based on what I feel. It’s not based on what I see. It is based on faith from the written oath of God. It is mine. I am a [man or woman] of faith, love, and joy. Faith, hope, and love are working in me now. Why? Because I’m blessed. I am blessed coming in and I’m blessed going out.

THE BLESSING is working in me now. The “Garden of Eden” effect is at work. The Anointing that removes burdens and destroys yokes is working in my spirit, soul, and body. I will come to complete wholeness and wellness.

I will stand in the full stature with my Lord Jesus Christ, anointed with His anointing, healed with His resurrection. And my prayer and desire are to know Him in fullness, to serve Him in power, and to know Him in the power of His resurrection.

Thank God I am the whole from the top of my head to the soles of my feet and in all the affairs of my life. I’m whole. I’m whole!

Mark 16:18;

“They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

  • Don’t come begging God, hoping you will receive something.
  • Come demanding your body to line up with God’s will.
  • Come expecting to receive.
  • Come taking authority over your own body.

Amen.
