Pastor Kathryn Hanley

Sunday Outline – February 26, 2023

Pastor Kathryn Hanley ministered the message this past Sunday.  She began by sharing about the revival that is sweeping across the EMIC campus.  This morning in the SuperKids Academy (SKA), a great impartation, anointing, and experiencing the glory of God was seen as the children were seeking God.  Then in the preservice prayer, Ms. Iva Bennett laid hands on the 14Forty teenagers, and they were experiencing the glory, and receiving words of knowledge, and words of wisdom.

“It started with our SKA, and is touching our teenagers, and the Word that is going to come forth this morning will ‘rock the adults.’   This Word will become foundational, allowing you to stand on something that is solid!  It is not based on feelings or emotions, but you will understand when you go home… your life has changed and is continuing to change.”

Pastor Kathryn said she is “Preaching from the position of revival!”

One of the words from Brother Copeland, given on October 26, 2022 for this year.

"There will be many that bow the knee to Baal. There will be many that bow the knee to Me,” saith The LORD. “For the outpouring of My generosity and My goodness has begun and will continue and go on and on. “For the bottom line is the freedom of My people and the true freedom of this nation. The people that raised this nation up are part of the great cloud of witnesses. They are witnessing it in the spirit—the power of the resurrection of this nation to bring it back to its original roots, and to bring it back to Me on bended knee. “I have heard from heaven from My people, and I will get it done. It will look better, do better and be stronger than you ever dreamed it could be. THIS is 2023."

The significance of refusing to bow to the enemy.

If you don’t bow, you won’t burn – Dr. Oral Roberts

Daniel 3

Historical context. Babylon was built on a great mountain of rock, with its walls 300 feet high, and wide enough for eight chariots to run races side by side.

Inside the walls was the famous temple of Bel (Baal), and on its altars were offered animals to appease the heathen gods. This is why Daniel said we will not eat the king’s meat as it was meat that was offered to idols.

Daniel 3:4-12

Nebuchadnezzar had a golden image built as he brought gods from all over the world, but none spoke or could hear, so Nebuchadnezzar said, I must be the greatest!

Three Hebrew men who refused to compromise or be swayed by earthly pressure. When you do things that are right, you will face opposition. If you bow with compromise, you will burn.

"What you compromise to keep, you will eventually loose" – Kenneth Copeland

1 Corinthians 15:24; Awaken to righteousness and sin not.

Are you aware of your heavenly identity? Then you should not feel the pressure to bow when you know God is on your side.

Psalm 34:19; Many are the afflictions of the righteous…

Don’t stop reading here.

But the Lord delivers them out of them all!

V. 19 (The Passion)

"Even when bad things happen to the good and godly ones, the Lord will save them and not let them be defeated by what they face."

What sets you apart as a peculiar person is the faith you operate in. Faith is the only thing which pleases God.

True faith has no plan “b.”

There is no backup plan as it is fully persuaded.

Hebrews 11:1 Faith is the assurance (title deed) [Amplified]

Mark 11:22-24 [Amplified]

Jesus replied, “Have faith in God [constantly]. 23 I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!’ and does not doubt in his heart [in God’s unlimited power], but believes that what he says is going to take place, it will be done for him [in accordance with God’s will]. 24 For this reason I am telling you, whatever things you ask for in prayer [in accordance with God’s will], believe [with confident trust] that you have received them, and they will be given to you.

Is this life of faith what you want?

Many of us know what is right; but if you haven’t already made up your mind that you will stand before the trial comes, you will compromise when the trial come if you are making your mind up then.

You need to decide ahead of time what you will do when trouble and afflictions come.

Daniel 3:13-15; Who is your god that can deliver you from me?

Mark 4:15 The enemy will come immediately when the Word is sown to bring doubt and question did God really mean it?

“The devil is a compromiser by nature!” – Jerry Savelle

The devil wants to put pressure on you, but we are told in James 4:7 that we are to submit to God, and to resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Instead of allowing the devil to put pressure on you, we put pressure on him with the Word of God.

  • When he said, let there be light – the light didn’t say, Oh, I don’t really feel like shining today.
  • When Jesus spoke to the wind and waves, “Peace, be still.” They didn’t say hold on Jesus, we will calm down in an hour or so.

They didn’t have a choice or argue or to push back.

  • When Jesus told Peter to take money out of the first fish you caught. The fish didn’t pop its head up and say I am really tired of supplying money, go ask the birds.

When the master said it, the fish obeyed.

…when God anointed a mule to preach.

…when God anointed a man to tell the sun and moon to stand still.

The authority that is in the mouth of God is the same authority placed in you.

When we speak the Word to the enemy, he doesn’t get to argue or stick around a little longer.  He MUST flee, as you are speaking it is written.

When we get ahold of this, it makes standing in faith a whole lot easier. We stand in faith until we know we win, by seeing the results.

Kenneth Hagin said, “When you make up your mind that you’re willing to stand forever, you’ll realize you won’t be standing that long.”

Job 42:10; The Lord turned the captivity of Job.

(Turning the tables on the devil)

We have the authority to put the pressure on the enemy – we turn the tables on the enemy. We tighten up the pressure on the devil by speaking the Word.

The three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, (or as their actual Hebrew names were Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah) refused to bow to the decree of Nebuchadnezzar.

Christians afraid to speak up against the demonic agendas of the world. Today the world is a fiery furnace, full of heat and pressure.

But we serve a covenant keeping God, so we know we don’t have to bow.

The world is saying you have to:

  • Bow to cancel culture
  • Bow to conformity
  • Bow to sexual perversion
  • Bow to Covid19
  • Bow to fear
  • Bow to critical race theory
  • Bow to the pressures of social media
  • Bow to gay pride & gender fluidity
  • Bow to violence
  • Bow to division
  • Bow to addictions to drugs & alcohol
  • Bow to the mainstream media
  • Bow to the sins of the sickness & disease
  • Bow to poverty & lack
  • Bow to oppression, anxiety, & depression
  • Bow to satan & his agenda of darkness

But today, if you don’t bow, you won’t burn!

Many compromise as they don’t know God is able. And, if they do know He is able, do they believe God is willing?

Doubting Thomas doubted Jesus being resurrected. Thomas had already witness three people being resurrected under Jesus’ ministry so it wasn’t a factor of could someone be resurrected.  It was a factor of would Thomas’ Jesus be resurrected? Would Jesus do it for him?

All authority has been given unto us, as it was given to Him by the Father.

How close were you to having the full manifestation, when you decided that you were going to compromise and give up? You don’t have to bow or compromise!

Daniel 3:16-29

The three Hebrew men didn’t need to think about how they were going to answer the king.

V.18 but if God doesn’t show up the way we think, we still won’t bow

V.29 no other god can deliver in this way.
