Sunday Outline – June 18, 2023
This past Sunday, Pastor George ministered:
“The Role of Godly Fathers.”
This past week, in the US news we saw the devil doing what he does best — perversion. He has been trying to pervert the laws of God and using people to do it. We saw the White House step over the line.
A sponsored Gay Pride event! They have crossed the line. The American flag hung unlawfully next to the other flag. Children were in attendance — UNACCEPTABLE!
Public schools have also stepped over the line.
A teacher forced students to watch Pride Month video. Students didn’t want to see it, so the teacher threatened punishment would ensue if they didn’t pay attention — UNACCEPTABLE!
There is a lot of money to be made in these things, and it is the love of money which is the root of all evil. This devilish direction is about votes, control, and money.
Proverbs 22:28; (NLT)
“Don’t cheat your neighbor by moving the ancient boundary markers set up by previous generations.”
In some translations the word “Landmark” is used, which also means boundary in this verse.
Boundaries are being crossed, and things are being done which are so far from the kingdom of God. There is a push to take the responsibility of raising children from mothers and fathers and transfer it to the government.
There are people who want to indoctrinate our children with their progressive, socialistic, anti-God liberal ideology. They want children to make decisions without parental consent.
The government is using children for their profit – their financial gain. The devil, through people, is trying to pervert the ways of God. This is Satan still trying to exalt himself above God. You cannot pervert the ways of God and get away with it.
As believers, we don’t conform to the world’s way. We are to be doing everything we can to look more like our Father. The primary way we accomplish this is through intercession, which moves the church ahead. (Pastor reminded us, this is still a Father’s Day message).
Acts 13:6-12; (NKJV)
“Now when they had gone through the island to Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew whose name was Bar-Jesus, who was with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, an intelligent man. This man called for Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the word of God. But Elymas the sorcerer (for so his name is translated) withstood them, seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith. Then Saul, who also is called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him and said, “O full of all deceit and all fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of righteousness, will you not cease PERVERTING the straight (KJV – right) ways of the Lord?” And now, indeed, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time.” And immediately a dark mist fell on him, and he went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand. Then the proconsul believed, when he saw what had been done, being astonished at the teaching of the Lord.”
“Son of the devil” = the son is acting just like the father.
Full of deceit, fraud, enemy…
“The hand of the Lord upon you” = judgement
John Adams said the White House is the sanctuary of God, so putting this flag there is putting devilish things in place.
We must be walking both spiritually and physically in more holiness, and righteousness as we see the enemy attempt to raise his standard across this country. This is a demonic agenda he is trying to unfold.
Pervert = (Greek) DIASTREPHO [the word ‘Disastrous’ comes from this Greek word.]
- To distort, misinterpret, to morally corrupt, to turn away from the right path.
- Corrupt and alter what was first intended.
- To twist and warp.
- To alter what was first created.
Don’t pervert God’s creation. It won’t work. The word of the Lord will stand forever!
God set an anointing upon mothers and fathers to train their children. This anointing is not on the government; nor should the government be commissioned to raise children.
1 Thessalonians and Timothy tells us what men are anointed to do, and there is no anointing on other activities a man does, just as there are anointings on women. We each stay in our anointed paths which God has ordained.

We need to be bold as a lion; bold love, bold compassion, bold service, and bold in your stance as a man!
Pastor George shared how Phillip Renner (son of Rick Renner) has been called to the authority centers of the nation and the cities. He and his team minister with boldness.
1 Corinthians 4:14-16; (NLT)
“I am not writing these things to shame you, but to warn you as my beloved children. For even if you had ten thousand others to teach you about Christ, you have only one spiritual father. For I became your father in Christ Jesus when I preached the Good News to you. So I urge you to imitate me.”
There are many teachers in the world. But there is only one Father – God. The role of a godly father in this time is so important.
Ephesians 6:1-4; (KJV)
Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
Honor thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Ephesians 6:4; (AMPC)
“Fathers, do not irritate and provoke your children to anger [do not exasperate them to resentment], but rear them [tenderly] in the training and disciple and the council and admonition of the Lord.”
(MSG) Fathers, don't exasperate your children by coming down hard on them. Take them by the hand and lead them in the way of the Master.
Fathers have the responsibility to help their children develop a mature relationship with them — how they relate to their earthly father affects how they will relate to their Heavenly Father.
(BCJ) Fathers, I remind you that you have a responsibility to help your children develop a mature relationship with you. Don’t always make them angry. Keep in mind that how they relate to you affects how they relate to the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 2:10-12; (BCJ)
“You witnessed my behavior, as did God — I was completely absorbed in God’s will, full of integrity and beyond criticism. You remember how I encouraged you, guided you and challenged you, like a father does his children to adopt a style of life that will reflect the standards of God who has invited you into his family for the fulfillment of His purpose.”
Pastor George shared one time while he was bathing his daughter Aubrey; he was becoming frustrated as she didn’t want to have a bath. Finally, Pastor George said he took a hold of the ‘Bunny Cup’ that was used by the sink for the toothbrush, and he threw it against the tile bathtub wall out of frustration. It broke into many pieces. Aubrey said “You broke my bunny cup.” Our actions can stay with us for a lifetime. But for the grace of God… (Ephesians 2:8), we ask for forgiveness from God, we ask for forgiveness from people we may have hurt, and we grow as men. We become accountable to others, because your life is worth it, your call on your life is worth it, and your future is worth it.
Proverbs 1:8-9; (NIV)
“Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. They will be a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck.”
A Parent’s Responsibility.
You are anointed to do this, so stand firm with boldness in God’s directed stance.

It is a parent’s responsibility to review their child’s educational content. This includes content children are learning in schools, clubs and through outside speakers. Curriculum must be accessible online. Parents should receive notification when it is updated. Libraries must post a database of materials available to children and notify parents of updates.
It is a parent’s responsibility to take the lead in decisions concerning their child. Parents have the right to meet educators in person concerning the education of their child. They also have the right to express disagreement with material being taught or pushed in America’s public schools. They have the right to stand against dangerous ideologies that contradict their religious beliefs. The right to do so must be protected by local, state, and federal authorities. Parents must be notified immediately if the child is experiencing stress due to external negative forces such as bullying, or access to drugs, alcohol, weapons, etc. Parents have the right to ask educators for assistance in protecting their child from these forces and to alert authorities of concerns.
It is a parent’s responsibility to make decisions regarding their child’s medical care. Parents have the right to grant or deny permission before any medical treatment, immunization or medication is offered to their child. And, before any medical consultation or procedure regarding reproductive health, abortion, or transgender alteration.
It is a parent’s responsibility to restrict sexual content shown to or made available to their child. Parents must be notified in advance and consent to any materials being presented to their child of a sexual or pornographic nature. Parents have the right to opt their child out of such instruction if it conflicts with their family values or religious beliefs.
It is a parent’s responsibility to speak up on behalf of their child. Parents have a right to speak out and engage with their school administrators regarding any of the above. They have the right to request changes to school practice and policy. No concerned parent, grandparent, or guardian should be canceled, arrested, silenced, called a bigot, or labeled as a terrorist for speaking out against radical indoctrination in taxpayer-supported public schools.

“Parents — mothers and fathers (not the government) should train up your children in the Biblical way they should live. When they grow up, they will not depart from what you taught them.”

“Be alert and on your guard; stand firm in your faith (your conviction respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, keeping the trust and holy fervor born of faith and a part of it). Act like men and be courageous; grow in strength!”

Glory (doxan in Greek) means the authority of God.
As men, we have all the authority of heaven to stay consistent in our faith, to the generation we have been given charge over.
