Pastor George Pearsons

Sunday Outline – November 5, 2023

Pastor John Jester ministered during Sunday’s offering time. One statement made was from Galatians 3:13-14; (AMPC)

“Christ purchased our freedom [redeeming us] from the curse (doom) of the Law [and its condemnation] by [Himself] becoming a curse for us, for it is written [in the Scriptures], Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree (is crucified);

To the end that through [their receiving] Christ Jesus, the blessing [promised] to Abraham might come upon the Gentiles, so that we through faith might [all] receive [the realization of] the promise of the [Holy] Spirit.”

We are in Covenant with God. The BLESSING was promised to Abraham and his spiritual seed. Our part does not start with us, but with understanding that we have been grafted into this covenant to share in the BLESSING.

Therefore, by faith we join our Jewish brothers and sisters, and do Kingdom Business by supporting Israel, taking authority when the enemy tries to take things that are not his, tithe, give offerings, reap, and walk in the supernatural wealth transfer – we call it, doing Kingdom Business!

This past Sunday, Pastor George ministered: The God of War.

We choose that all we see is victory! To help us continue to walk in greater victory, the Lord gave our Pastor scriptures to help us maintain the stance of victory as we continue to fight.  We love what God loves; therefore, our prayer is not that Israel cease fire, but that Israel remain strong and win this war!

  • It is an exercise in futility to think you can fight against God and win.
  • It is an exercise in futility to think you can wipe out the Jewish nation.
  • The Jews belong to God. He fights FOR them, and He fights THROUGH them.

We know God by many names, today we look at Him as a God of war.

My People Israel

2 Samuel 7:8-11; (NKJV)

“Now therefore, thus shall you say to My servant David, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts: “I took you from the sheepfold, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My people, over Israel. And I have been with you wherever you have gone and have cut off all your enemies from before you, and have made you a great name, like the name of the great men who are on the earth. Moreover, I will appoint a place for My people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own and move no more; nor shall the sons of wickedness oppress them anymore, as previously, since the time that I commanded judges to be over My people Israel, and have caused you to rest from all your enemies.”

The LORD tells you that He will make you a house. God calls the Jews, “My people Israel.”

V. 10 (MSG) “And I’m going to set aside a place for my people Israel and plant them there so they’ll have their own home and not be knocked around any more. Nor will evil men afflict you as they always have.”

If someone cut your grandchild’s hands and feet off, would you take it and say, "Let’s call for a Peace Fire." That is exactly what many in the world are saying.  Or would you rise and say, "No more, let’s fight back!"

(NLT) “And I will provide a homeland for my people Israel, planting them in a secure place where they will never be disturbed. Evil nations won’t oppress them as they’ve done in the past.”

Regulations Concerning War

Deuteronomy 20:1-4; (NLT)

“When you go out to fight your enemies and you face horses and chariots and an army greater than your own, do not be afraid. The LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, is with you! When you prepare for battle, the priest must come forward to speak to the troops. He will say to them, ‘Listen to me, all you men of Israel! Do not be afraid as you go out to fight your enemies today! Do not lose heart or panic or tremble before them. For the LORD your God is going with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and he will give you victory!”

How will this end – in victoryMore hostages will be let go, because of the angelic force that is working on our behalf.

Our God is a God of War (The Song of Moses)

Exodus 15:1-19; (NKJV)

“Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the LORD, and spoke, saying: “I will sing to the LORD, For He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea! The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.”

The LORD is a man of war; The LORD is His name.

Chumash = God is the Master of war; God (uses) His Name (to do battle). {Chumash is the Torah commentary.}

“Pharaoh’s chariots and his army He has cast into the sea; His chosen captains also are drowned in the Red Sea. The depths have covered them; They sank to the bottom like a stone. “Your right hand, O LORD, has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O LORD, has dashed the enemy in pieces. And in the greatness of Your excellence, You have overthrown those who rose against You; You sent forth Your wrath; It consumed them like stubble. And with the blast of Your nostrils The waters were gathered together; The floods stood upright like a heap; The depths congealed in the heart of the sea.”

This sounds like Mark 11:23-25; we speak the Name, and the enemy is cast into the sea. Annette Capps says Israel is anointed to fight!

The enemy said,

‘I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; My desire shall be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword, My hand shall destroy them.’

“You blew with Your wind, The sea covered them; They sank like lead in the mighty waters. “Who is like You, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders? You stretched out Your right hand; The earth swallowed them. You in Your mercy have led forth The people whom You have redeemed; You have guided them in Your strength To Your holy habitation.”

“The people will hear and be afraid; Sorrow will take hold of the inhabitants of Philistia. Then the chiefs of Edom (Jordan) will be dismayed; The mighty men of Moab, Trembling will take hold of them; All the inhabitants of Canaan will melt away. Fear and dread will fall on them; By the greatness of Your arm They will be as still as a stone, Till Your people pass over, O LORD, Till the people pass over Whom You have purchased.

You will bring them in and plant them in the mountain of Your inheritance, In the place, O LORD, which You have made For Your own dwelling, The sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands have established.

The LORD shall reign forever and ever.”

For the horses of Pharaoh went with his chariots and his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought back the waters of the sea upon them. But the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea.”

The LORD is Mighty in Battle

Psalm 24:7-10; (NKJV)

“Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD is strong and mighty, The LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah”

What happened when God drowned the Egyptian army?

  • He promised His chosen nation He would protect them.
  • He demonstrated His superiority and greatness in battle.
  • He demonstrated His wrath and judgement against those who were oppressing His people.

“What About All the Nations Surrounding Israel?”

Isaiah 40:15-17; (AMPC)

“Behold, the nations are like a drop from a bucket and are counted as small dust on the scales; behold, He takes up the isles like a very little thing. And all Lebanon’s [forests] cannot supply sufficient fuel, nor all its wild beasts furnish victims enough to burn sacrifices [worthy of the Lord]. All the nations are as nothing before Him; they are regarded by Him as less than nothing and emptiness (waste, futility, and worthlessness).”

The nations are a drop in the bucket that oppose God…

  • That includes the nations that are against Israel.
  • The nations that protest Israel.
  • The nations that call for a pause.
  • The nations that call for the death of Jews.
  • The nations saying, “Death to Israel. Death to America.”
  • That includes the comment made by one Imam who said, “Israel, Spain, Australia, and Rome — all are Muslim lands. Allah instructed us to conquer the entire earth because he created it only for Muslims. The Prophet said we would rule the world. America and Europe will soon come to an end. only Islam will prevail.”

Psalm 2:1-5;

“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.”

Notice God is sitting laughing at the vain words.

Isaiah 42:13;

“The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies.”

God is Our Shield

Psalm 3:1-8; (KJV)

“LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.

But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.

I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.

Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.

Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.”

(MSG) “God! Look! Enemies past counting! Enemies sprouting like mushrooms, Mobs of them all around me, roaring their mockery: “Hah! No help for him from God!”

But you, God, shield me on all sides; You ground my feet, you lift my head high; With all my might I shout up to God, His answers thunder from the holy mountain.

I stretch myself out. I sleep. Then I’m up again—rested, tall and steady, Fearless before the enemy mobs. Coming at me from all sides.

Up, God! My God, help me! Slap their faces, First this cheek, then the other, Your fist hard in their teeth!

Real help comes from God. Your blessing clothes your people!”

“Don’t you be concerned about My State of Israel. Those are MY PEOPLE!”
