Commander’s Corner:
We are wrapping up our series “With all my Heart” this Sunday. Superkids will learn about the stoning of Stephen from Acts 7. When faced with an angry mob of people who hated him, he said: “Lord do not hold this sin against them.” WOW! In a moment of tremendous pain, Stephen didn’t cry out for himself. He prayed for others. Our Superkids may experience some hard situations on the playground or even with their siblings. We must teach them to forgive. Jesus said it best in Matthew 6:14-15, “For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” We all need forgiveness, so we should forgive others like Stephen did.
