Superkid Academy – September 14

Commander’s Corner:

Proverbs 18:24 says: “there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”  While many of us have good friendships, it’s important to remember that Jesus is also our friend!  This week we are teaching Superkids the story of when Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead.  When everyone else had given up on him, Jesus never did.  He showed up on the scene, and the glory of God touched his friend, Lazarus.  During this teaching, our Superkids will learn about the love that Jesus has for them and that He is a friend they can always count on.

Prayer Family Activity:

Teach your kids to be like Jesus!  Encourage your child to pray for a friend from school or church this week.

Wednesday Night Elective Highlight:

“And Action!” is an elective that is all about production!  The 3rd-5th graders in this elective have the opportunity to pick a story line, write scripts, film, and showcase a fun production to their peers.  We are excited about this elective because it provides our Superkids with hands-on experience for many life skills!

See You at the Pole:

Wednesday, September 27th is See You at the Pole, a time when students meet at their school flagpole before school starts to pray! SKA team members will go to local elementary schools to pray with Superkids!
