Commander’s Corner:
Our February theme is called “With All My Heart,” and we are teaching the Superkids about the EMIC Core Value “We Walk in Love!” This week the Superkids are learning that Jesus loves them, and He has forgiven them! We will teach the story of when Peter denied Christ and was restored. Like Peter, every single one of us has missed the mark at some point. That’s the reason why Jesus came! His purpose was to redeem us, forgive us, and love us! We’re called His children because He loves us! Take time this week to tell your children that they are loved no matter what they do. Remind them that Love is patient and kind. Jesus was and is the greatest demonstration of this to all mankind.
Wednesday Night:
Basic Training 1st & 2nd Graders
This semester our 1st & 2nd graders are learning the ABC’s of faith. They are learning this week that God the Father is a giver! John 3:16 says, “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”
