I believe that all, if not at the least the vast majority, of us are aware of the war that is happening in Israel right now. There are pictures, videos and news stories at almost every turn. And while we need to be aware of what is going on, if we are not careful, we can open a door for fear or worry to come. It is in these times where we need to keep our eyes and hearts stayed on the Word of God!
To that end, I sense a leading to dive into Proverbs. You may be wondering what that has to do with Israel or the crisis this nation is in. The answer… EVERYTHING!! Take a look at how Proverbs 1 begins!
"Here are kingdom revelations, words to live by, and words of wisdom given to empower you to reign in life, written as proverbs by Israel’s King Solomon, David’s son." Proverbs 1:1 (TPT)
King Solomon is not talking about earthly kingdom revelations, he is talking about Heavenly kingdom revelations! After all, his wisdom came from God. And he says that these proverbs are not just for us to live by, but also to EMPOWER us the REIGN in life! That sure sounds a lot like living a power-filled and victorious life!
So join me on this blog each week as we dive into Proverbs and glean some wisdom to guide us through these last hours of the last days!!

- Thursday, October 12th is our Radiant meeting! Join us as we continue In The Garden with our monthly meeting at 7pm in the Chapel. Doors will open at 6:30pm with refreshments. Bring a friend as we enjoy a time of worship, the Word, and ministry. Free childcare provided for ages birth – 5th grade. Registration is required but free! Register today at Radiant!!
- Saturday, October 14th is our Advancing in Faith group. This group is using Brother Kenneth E. Hagin’s study guide, Bible Faith! We meet every 2nd & 4th Saturday of the month in the Living Room modular at 9 am. This group is also available online via Zoom. There is a $10 course fee that includes the Bible Faith Study Guide we will be using. To register for this group please go here: Registration
- Sunday, October 15th is our Marriage Re-Envisioned group for single women. Come join us as we learn the essentials of preparing for marriage. Whether you are single, divorced, or widowed we have a place for you! We meet every 1st & 3rd Sunday right after service in SLC Classroom B. You may bring lunch with you.
- Sunday, October 15th is when Bridge Moms meet to cook the meal for our Bridge Young Adults group. We cook every 1st & 3rd Sunday. 2:30pm-6:30pm – Prep to clean up. This group requires a food handlers license (license fee reimbursed upon completion), so if you are interested in joining, please reach out directly to Pastor Cathy: cgrigg@emic.org
- Monday, October 16th is our weekly Radiant Discipleship group led by Pastor Cathy Grigg. Join us as we study Brother Kenneth E. Hagin's book, How to be Led by the Spirit of God – Legacy Edition! We meet at 12:15 pm in the Hospitality Room. This group is also available via Zoom! Radiant Discipleship Registration
- Wednesday, October 18th is our Radiant Bible Study. Enjoy the Word of God, and good teaching with other women of EMIC. We meet every 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month in the Hospitality Room at 10:30 am.
- Thursday, October 19th is our monthly Women’s Business Group meeting. This month: Guest Speaker: Janie Choate and Fall Potluck Dinner. Janie is a former business executive and a member of the Radiant Key Leader team. Janie will teach the group about "How to create a successful business plan" and share about her business experiences throughout the years, and pitfalls to avoid. We're excited to hear from Janie and learn from her expertise! They meet every 3rd Thursday at 7 pm in the Living Room modular.
