SPRING RETREAT 2023
EARLY STUDENT CHECK-IN: SATURDAY, MARCH 11th | 9am-11am | SLC AUDITORIUM
DAY OF CHECK-IN: SUNDAY, MARCH 12th | 8am-10am SLC AUDITORIUM
During check-in (early or day of), students will:
• Make Final Payments
• Complete Paperwork (Please bring medical cards if you have not already submitted a copy.)
• Receive T-Shirts, Luggage Tags, and Wristbands
• Drop-off Luggage (In addition to provided luggage tags, please label all items.)
• Check Medicine (if applicable)
WHAT TO BRING/PACK: *For day of departure, students may have one bag or backpack for the bus.
• Bible & Journal/Notebook
• Bedding & A Pillow (sleeping bags & fitted twin sheet work great!)
• Towels (one for showering and one for any water activities)
• Toiletries (shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothbrush/toothpaste, etc.) If possible, avoid strong perfumed items (critters are attracted to them).
• Casual Clothes (Clothes you aren’t afraid to get dirty! We will be out in the woods, so dress accordingly. Ziplining, rock climbing, canoeing, etc. are just a few of our activities, so make sure you can be active in what you choose to wear.)
• Bring layered items: Flannels, jackets, long sleeves, and /or sweatshirts.
• Ladies – If you wish to wear leggings, please make sure that your shirt covers your bottom. If it doesn’t, you will be asked to change!
• Comfortable shoes, socks, and shower shoes. For activities (ropes courses and some games) tennis shoes are required.
• Course appropriate clothing. (There may be times when you will be above the others, so be selective in choosing your shorts.)
• Nicer clothes for evening services
• Flashlight
• Insect Repellant and sunscreen (if needed)
• Money for Camp Store – Optional (Forest Glen store offers snacks, soft drinks, T-shirts, candy, stuffed animals, water bottles, etc.)
