“Surely The LORD God will do nothing but He revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets.” —Amos 3:7
Welcome to 2019! And what an amazing year it is going to be!
So many wonderful things took place last year. What a blessing it is to be involved in such a tremendous ministry, church and Bible school. The LORD has certainly done wondrous things.
Pastor Terri and I so appreciate your giving throughout last year. I want to give you a great report: EMIC’s 2018 income was the highest, ever. We hit a new record. We are so thankful for the generosity and obedience of our tremendous congregation!
Thank you for being part of EMIC! We so appreciate your presence and supply of the Spirit. As we enter into this new year, Pastor Terri and I declare that you will hit a new record for income in 2019. Everything you set your hands to will prosper. You and your family are BLESSED beyond measure and furnished in abundance. You have more than enough, you are increasing more and more, and you are living in the overflow!
We have been given a gift for this new year. Actually, we have been given two gifts in the form of prophetic words. I so appreciate The LORD for giving us His marching orders for the new year. He has been faithful to do that over and over again. This year, we are standing on two very strong and powerful words delivered to us by the prophets.
First of all, Brother Copeland distinctly heard the word of The LORD for 2019: “2019—the Year of Abundant Harvest.”
The first scripture that comes to mind when thinking about an abundant harvest is Psalm 65:11-13, in the New International Version: “You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance. The grasslands of the wilderness overflow; the hills are clothed with gladness. The meadows are covered with flocks and the valleys are mantled with grain; they shout for joy and sing.”
It’s harvest time! And we need to be calling in our harvest. How do we do that? With words spoken in faith. Isaiah 41:15 is a picture of us: “Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.” The Hebrew cross-reference to the word teeth is mouths. Our mouths act like the combines that thresh the wheat.
That is why we bring the tithes and offerings to the altar every Sunday morning. There, we pray over our giving and make a powerful declaration of faith. We call in the harvest. We command it to come to us. We send out the harvesting angels to gather it and bring it to us.
The second 2019 word from The LORD came through Brother Jerry Savelle.
The LORD said, Tell believers everywhere you go, throughout 2019, that it will be a year of ‘Marvels, Wonders and Extraordinary Manifestations of the Greatness of Our God.’ The LORD gave him Exodus 34:10: “Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of The LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.”
A covenant is a solemn oath and agreement. It is an unbreakable pledge and promise. This covenant of marvels did not end with Moses. It has continued right up to this present time.
A marvel is anything God does that causes people to have a sense of awe and reverence.
A wonder is something unfamiliar that can’t be explained any other way, except that it had to be God.
An extraordinary manifestation is an unusual occurrence that transcends the common course of nature. It is a remarkable event.
Together, let’s continue to call in the abundant harvest. Say, “The hundredfold return is working for me all the time!” Let’s believe for the marvels, wonders and extraordinary manifestations of the greatness of our God.
“Father, we know that if we obey the prophets, we will prosper (2 Chronicles 20:20.) You have revealed your secrets to Your prophets concerning 2019. By faith, we receive the abundant harvest. By faith, we receive marvels, wonders and extraordinary manifestations of the greatness of our God. Thank You for the gift of prophecy. We release our faith and take these words, in Jesus’ Name!”
Happy New Year!
