Commander’s Corner:
This week we are celebrating FATHERS for Father’s Day!!! Our children need strong fathers of faith in the home. This week, we will talk about the role that a father has in the lives of their children. We will teach the children the story of when Jairus’s daughter was raised from the dead in Mark chapter 5. Fathers play a crucial role in our children’s spiritual, emotional, and physical development. Take time this week to celebrate the father, grandfather, or father figure in your child’s life!
On Wednesday nights we are continuing our Summer Olympic Program in 1st-5th grade! We will learn how champion’s get back up! We will teach about Samson and the temple walls. Samson made mistakes, and it caused him to become weak. But he asked God for another chance. In his death, he killed more Philistines than his entire lifetime. Talk about second chances and the reason to get back up again!
Vacation Bible School:
Our theme this year is BLAST OFF WITH FAITH! 1 John 5:4 says, “This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.” This year during VBS we are going to BLAST OFF with the Word of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit! Join us for a 3-day event, filled with out of this world activities! Each day, your child will get to participate in chapel, worship, arts & crafts, snacks, space games, and of course science experiments! Come out and join us as we travel through space together!
