Commander’s Corner:
This week in our series about honor, we’re learning about Samuel! When Samuel was Superkid age, he honored Eli by doing what Eli said (1 Samuel 3). God has placed ministers, pastors, teachers, etc. in each of our lives to help us grow as believers. Samuel learned to hear God’s voice because he showed honor to his spiritual leader. Just think about all of the things we can learn when we honor our spiritual leaders! This week, take time as a family to pray over our pastors and leaders at EMIC. Talk to your children the important role that leaders have in our lives! Praying for our leaders is just one of the many ways we can honor them.
Electives are back!! Bring your Superkids this Wednesday as we kick off our fall elective program. Electives are an opportunity for Superkids to get discipled in specific topics and skills in a smaller classroom setting!
1st and 2nd graders will be in Basic Training with Captain Gerrelda to learn the core values of EMIC!
Our 3rd – 5th graders will rotate through the following classes:
-God & Science: Lt. Reggie will teach the Superkids about the Word of God through fun science experiments!
-Prayer: Lt. Cmdr. Geana will teach the Superkids how to pray through the spirit of faith!
-Tech: Captain Don will teach the Superkids how to operate broadcast technology!
SKA Dance Team Tryouts
