Commander’s Corner:
This week in Superkid Academy, Superkids will learn about the night when Jesus was born! We will teach from Luke chapter 2 about the birth of our Savior. It’s vital that we remind our children each year of this miraculous story and the events that surrounded His birth. The Bible exhorts parents to teach their children the Word of God in Deuteronomy 11:19 NIV: “Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” I love how practical this Scripture is, especially in our busy society. The story of his birth can be told while driving to Grandma’s for Christmas, before bedtime, and around the dinner table! May the story of His birth continue to be a light to the world of hope, faith and love that we celebrate every year!
Wednesday Night:
We will not be meeting for our Wednesday evening service this week. Celebrate and enjoy this time with your families. We look forward to seeing you Sunday, December 25th for our special Christmas Day service.
