Superkid Academy – March 16

Commander’s Corner:

This week in Superkid Academy we will continue to learn about the mighty miracles of the Bible!  We are teaching Superkids about the story in Matthew 20, when Jesus healed the two blind men.  We learn in this story that: “Jesus had compassion on them.”  It wasn’t their yelling that caused Him to heal them, but it was His compassion that moved Him.  The Bible says many times that Jesus was moved with compassion.  Compassion is what caused Jesus to heal others, and we should be moved with compassion as well.

Our memory verse this month is Isaiah 53:5 NKJV “But he was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities:  The chastisement for our peace was upon Him. And by His stripes we are healed.”

Wednesday Night:

This week our 1st & 2nd graders are learning about the Holy Spirit through a fun activity called “fizzing fireworks!”  They will learn all about the power of the Holy Spirit!
