Commander’s Corner:
Wow! This summer has been filled with faith and fun at Superkid Academy, and school is just around the corner! We’re getting ready with a new series called Honor Roll! One of EMIC’s core values is: We Honor God. During the month of August, we’re teaching the Superkids what honor is and how we honor God. Our memory verse this month is Ephesians 6:1 (NLT), “Children, obey your parents because you belong to the Lord, for this is the right thing to do.” One of the ways we honor God is by honoring the people He has placed in our lives! This Sunday, we’ll learn about the Prodigal Son from Luke 15 and find out what happens when we don’t show honor vs. what happens when we do show honor.

Volunteer of the Month:
Chase Davis
Chase is a hard-working and dependable volunteer with our Supertots! He is happy to serve when needed, and he is great with kids, parents, and other volunteers. Chase served at SKA Camp for the first time this year and was a rockstar with our 1st-5th graders as well! Thank you, Chase, for sharing your servant’s heart with our Superkids!
8/10 Family Worship Service:
1st-5th graders will join their families in the sanctuary for a worship night! We want to praise God together for all of the wonderful things He did at SWBC!

SKA Dance Team Tryouts
The SKA Dance Team is having tryouts on Sunday, 8/14! If your child is interested in being on the dance team, they can sign up in person at SKA!
