Commander’s Corner:
This week in Superkid Academy is all about water baptism! What a great time to talk about water baptism, since many Superkids are spending their summer days at the pool. We will teach them one of the most important baptism stories in the Bible: the time when Jesus was baptized in John chapter three. I always tell our Superkids, “If Jesus was baptized and He is the son of God, how much more should we do it as well?!” Your children may be interested in getting baptized after they learn more about it in this series. Please reach out to me and we can set up a baptism discipleship video call with you and your child. I will make sure they have a good understanding of what baptism is and disciple them on the topic. Baptisms for Superkids occur every 1st Sunday directly after the 10:00am service.

Wednesday, our Summer Olympic series continues! Our 1st-5th Graders will learn that “Champions Have Faith”. We will teach them about the different champions of faith from Hebrews chapter 11. At nighttime before bed, you can go over these topics with your child. Ask them questions like: “What makes a champion of faith?” “How can you become one?” “What areas in your life do you need to apply your faith to?” Continue to talk about the Word everyday in your conversations and raise your children in the household of faith!
