Commander’s Corner:
Welcome to a new month! It’s June, and we are kicking off a hot summer topic on Sunday mornings in Superkid Academy called “Healing Zone”! This entire month we are teaching our children that it is God’s will to heal. This Sunday, we are teaching how Jesus healed the ten lepers in Luke chapter 17. Superkids will learn that it was through thankfulness that the one leper was completely made whole. Our memory verse for this month is Isaiah 53:5 “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.”

Lisa has been serving with Superbabies for years, and she shows our babies the love of God by caring for them! She’s very reliable and is willing to step in when needed. Thank you, Lisa, for all of your dedication to our Superbabies!
Student Ministries Promotion Night:
Wednesday, June 8th is Student Ministries promotion night! 5th graders will promote to 14forty middle school, and incoming 1st graders will promote to SKA!
SKA will have a Royal Cupcake Party! All of our Superkids (including the new 1st graders) are invited to come dressed in their prince and princess attire. We will celebrate our new Superkids with cupcakes and royal games!
Vacation Bible School:
Our theme this year is BLAST OFF WITH FAITH! 1 John 5:4 says, “This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.” This year during VBS we are going to BLAST OFF with the Word of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit! Join us for a 3-day event, filled with out of this world activities! Each day, your child will get to participate in chapel, worship, arts & crafts, snacks, space games, and of course science experiments! Come out and join us as we travel through space together!
