Has this ever happened to you? You’re reading along in your Bible and you come across a scripture that jumps out at you? It has for me, and this was the one that stopped me in my tracks:
“Your new life began when the Holy Spirit gave you a new birth. Why then would you so foolishly turn from living in the Spirit by trying to finish by your own works?“ Galatians 3:3 (TPT)
Great question right! Now, you could just read on past that question and say it doesn’t pertain to you. But this is the year of Correction, Direction, Protection, and Perfection – In the Spirit, Soul and Body…. so let’s not rush past that question so fast and really do a spirit check! Is there an area where you are trying to complete the work (word)? It may have begun with a Word from God, just as it did for Abraham and Sarah, but after many days, months or even years of not seeing the manifestation of that Word, have you begun to entertain bringing in a Hagar (fleshly) alternative? DON’T DO IT!! God is Spirit – which means He is not going to bring about His Word to you, in the way you think it should happen. STOP leaning on your own understanding, GET into the spirit, LET God work His Word in your life, and STAND firm, resolute, and unwavering in your faith that GOD’S GOT THIS!
Now, here’s a look at what is happening this week into next with our Radiant groups!
- Thursday, September 15th is our monthly Women’s Business Group meeting. Whether you are thinking about going into business or already own your own, this group covers multiple topics to encourage all women in the business field! They normally meet every 3rd Thursday at 7 pm in the Living Room modular. NOTE: This month they are meeting via ZOOM only!!
- Saturday, September 17th is our Deep group meeting. If you are looking to go deeper in your relationship with the Lord, to experience new levels of joy and healing, then join us every 3rd week on Saturday at 8 am in the Living Room modular. There will be a potluck breakfast – bring something to share if you are able, but it is not required – all are welcome!
- Sunday, September 18th is our Marriage Re-Envisioned group for single women. Come join us as we learn the essentials of preparing for marriage. Whether you are single, divorced, or widowed we have a place for you! We meet every 1st & 3rd Sunday right after service in the Living Room modular. You may bring lunch with you.
- Thursday, September 22nd is our monthly Abiding Wives group. This is a group for married women to fellowship and connect with each other as we gather to pray for our husbands. We meet every 4th Thursday of the month at a private home, beginning at 7 pm. You will need to email women@emic.org to get the address.
