Forgiveness of sin! That is what everyone who receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior is guaranteed! Just look at what this verse says:
“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;” Ephesians 1:7 (KJV)
BUT, does that mean we stop sinning? No! It means that we are redeemed from the condemnation of that sin. However, if we don’t openly repent when we do sin, we open up the door to the devil and his condemning voice. Much of the trouble we face in our daily lives gets blamed on the devil, but how much is really our own fault because we “didn’t tell all of the facts and skewed the truth”, much like Ananias and Saphira! If things aren’t going right in your life – check if you opened the door by openly sinning, repent, and receive again the fullness of the forgiveness Jesus redeemed you from!
Now, here’s a look at what is happening this week into next with our Radiant groups!
- Saturday, October 8th is our Advancing in Faith group. This group just started a new study using Brother Kenneth E. Hagin’s study guide, Bible Faith! We meet every 2nd & 4th Saturday of the month in the Living Room modular at 9am. This group is also available online via Zoom: Advancing in Faith Meeting ID: 343 088 9500. There is a $10 course fee that includes the Bible Faith Study Guide we will be using. - Monday, October 10th is our weekly Radiant Discipleship group led by Pastor Cathy Grigg. We are currently going through Sister Gloria Copeland’s book on the Fruit of the Spirit and meet at 12:15 pm in the Hospitality Room. This group is also available via Zoom: Radiant Discipleship Link
- Tuesday, October 10th is our Growing From Glory to Glory group. A time to enjoy the Word of God, good teaching, and light refreshments with other women of EMIC. They meet every 2nd & 4th Tuesdays at 10am in the Hospitality Room.
- Thursday, October 13th is Radiant! 7pm in the Chapel! Join us on for a special Radiant, as we hear from a panel of Kenneth Copeland Bible College graduates! Come for a time of worship and ministry as they share their powerful testimonies. Doors will open at 6:30pm with refreshments and fellowship. Free childcare will be provided for ages birth – 5th grade. Registration is required!! Invite a friend and register now at Radiant
