Happy New Year!! What an exciting Word we received from Brother Copeland during the New Year’s Eve service! If you did not hear it, make sure you go back and listen to it! It aligns quite strongly with what we have been hearing Pastors George & Terri minister to us on Sundays.
By putting to action what we have heard from Brother Copeland and our Pastors on putting the Word first place and making it final authority, we will indeed see the fulfillment of the Words Brother Copeland received from the Lord, “2023 will be as exciting as it can be. It will be the time when you will say it and the devil will flee. All around you will begin to rise up, like great mountains of victory. And you will stand strong and say, ‘God is on my side in 2023 because He is blessing me.'”
Let’s take a look at a Word that Jesus said Himself!!
“Now you understand that I have imparted to you my authority to trample over his kingdom. You will trample upon every demon before you and overcome every power Satan possesses. Absolutely nothing will harm you as you walk in this authority.” Luke 10:19 (TPT)
WOW! What a Word! We have the authority to trample over the kingdom of darkness, every demon and overcome every power satan possesses! BUT did you catch that last part of verse 19? The only way for nothing to be able to harm us is to walk in that authority! Sounds easy doesn’t it? Yet that is where many of us fall short. You might be questioning “How?” or “Why?”. The answer lies in verse 20!
“However, your real source of joy isn’t merely that these spirits submit to your authority, but that your names are written in the journals of heaven and that you belong to God’s kingdom. This is the true source of your authority.” Luke 10:20 (TPT)
Jesus quite clearly tells us that we should be finding our joy and our authority in the TRUTH that our name is written in the journals of heaven and that we belong to GOD’s KINGDOM!!
Now, here’s a look at what is happening this week into next with our Radiant groups!
- Saturday, January 7th is our New Mom Connections group. This group is designed to connect first-time Moms to other women who have or are expecting a newborn but also have other children. To be a connection point where questions may be asked, and friendships built. The group meets the first Saturday each month at 9:30 am in the Living Room Modular.
- Monday, January 9th is our weekly Radiant Discipleship group led by Pastor Cathy Grigg. We are currently going through Sister Gloria Copeland’s book on the Fruit of the Spirit and meet at 12:15 pm in the Hospitality Room. This group is also available via Zoom: Radiant Discipleship Link
- Tuesday, January 10th is our Growing From Glory to Glory group. A time to enjoy the Word of God, good teaching, and light refreshments with other women of EMIC. They meet every 2nd & 4th Tuesdays at 12:15pm in the Hospitality Room.
- Thursday, January 12th is our Radiant Worship Night! 7pm in the SLC Auditorium! Join us on for a special Radiant Worship Night, as we celebrate the New Year with a time of praise and worship to our Father God. It will be a time to worship Him for all He has done and for the year ahead! Doors will open at 6:30pm with refreshments and fellowship. Free childcare will be provided for ages birth – 5th grade.
