Radiant Happenings! March 2nd

MiraclesWe are about to see miracles this Thursday and Friday at Miracles on the Mountain, but did you know you don’t have to wait for weeks, months or years to experience a miracle?! It’s true according to Mark 16:-17-18 (TPT)

“And these miracle signs will accompany those who believe: They will drive out demons in the power of my name. They will speak in tongues. 18They will be supernaturally protected from snakes and from drinking anything poisonous. And they will lay hands on the sick and heal them.

I hear you… “Pastor Cathy, if that is true, then why aren’t we seeing these miracles all the time?” The answer lies in that scripture – these miracle signs will accompany those who believe. Look at that first underlined word – signs. Why was it worded miracle signs? What is a sign – Webster’s 1828 Dictionary defines it this way:

A token; something by which another thing is shown or represented; any visible thing, any motion, appearance or event which indicates the existence or approach of something else.

AND, what exactly is a miracle? Using Webster’s 1828 Dictionary, it gives this definition:

1. Literally, a wonder or wonderful thing; but appropriately,

2. In theology, an event or effect contrary to the established constitution and course of things, or a deviation from the known laws of nature; a supernatural event. Miracles can be wrought only by Almighty power, as when Christ healed lepers, saying, ‘I will, be thou clean, ‘ or calmed the tempest, ‘Peace, be still.’

So a miracle sign is a supernatural event that indicates the existence or approach of something else! AND according to our scripture, they ACCOMPANY those who BELIEVE. The reason we don’t see miracles all the time is because they aren’t to be passed out like candy, but to show forth the coming of the Messiah and His kingdom! AND you must BELIEVE that GOD will use you just as Jesus said to perform those miraculous signs! If you are waiting for a miracle because you DON’T want to have surgery, or go to the doctor, or take medicine, etc. – you may be in error. Check with Holy Spirit – did HE tell you not to have surgery, or go to the doctor, or to take the medicine? OR, is it possibly fear of condemnation, that you might not be in faith, actually the reason you DON’T want to do those things?

Get with Holy Spirit and truly be willing to hear from Him on what you are supposed to do, and then stand in full faith that what HE has told you to do WILL cause your miracle to COME TO PASS!
