Radiant Happenings! May 23rd

Have you been enjoying Pastors George and Terri on the Believer's Voice of Victory television program? If you have not watched the past two weeks, I would strongly encourage you to do so!! We are in the end times whether you want to be or not, and they have presented two weeks of GREAT teaching that will equip you and also give you peace and assurance that God's got us!!

Our Proverbs 2 Study

"Men who forsake the paths of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness, 14 Who rejoice to do evil and delight in the perverseness of evil, 15 Who are crooked in their ways, wayward and devious in their paths." Proverbs 2:13-15 (AMPC)

The best time to resist temptation and avoid making a mistake is at the beginning when it confronts you. So when you walk in the discretion and wisdom of God, He'll tell you what to do before you ever get into trouble.

Discretion not only delivers you from temptations and mistakes, but it also delivers you from "the evil man" or the person who could harm you. Evil men are defined as those who forsake the paths of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness, who rejoice to do evil and delight in the perverseness of evil (vs. 13-14)

Listen to what the Kesuvim / The Writings (Mishlei/Proverbs) on pg. 18 say about verses twelve to fifteen:

Vs. 12-15 "This passage speaks of three areas in which chochmah will save a person from mishap: (1) character traits; (2) deeds; and (3) Torah study. Verses 12-13 speak of the way of evil, referring to bad character traits. Verse 14 refers to improper deeds. Verse 15 addresses perversity in Torah study (Vilna Gaon).
