What an amazing night we had at Radiant this past Thursday!! If you missed the meeting, you can watch it here: Radiant
This month I've been meditating on the gospel of Matthew, Chapter 8. The verse I'm currently unpacking is, verse 2, but let's take a look at both verse 1 and verse 2 in the AMPC:
"WHEN JESUS came down from the mountain, great throngs followed Him. 2 And behold, a leper came up to Him and, prostrating himself, worshiped Him, saying, Lord, if You are willing, You are able to cleanse me by curing me."
Jesus has just concluded what is known as The Sermon on the Mount, so notice that great throngs are following him. Yet, despite the risk of stoning, a leper falls down at the feet of Jesus and worship's him! THEN – the leper declares that Jesus is able to cleanse and cure him, if Jesus is willing. AND what did Jesus say?
"3And He reached out His hand and touched him, saying, I am willing; be cleansed by being cured. And instantly his leprosy was cured and cleansed."
Did you catch that? Jesus said, "I am willing; be cleansed by being cured." That is shoutin' talk right there!! But also notice, Jesus TOUCHED him! Jesus had no fear that the leprosy that plagued this man would "get on him". NO FEAR HERE might be another way of looking at Jesus' response. So too, we must not shrink back from sharing a healing touch from the Lord at the direction of the Holy Spirit. God is willing – are you?

* Thursday, November 14th is our Radiant Friendsgiving Around The World! Join us for a special Radiant Friendsgiving in the Headquarters Dining Room at 7pm. We invite you to bring a favorite celebration dish from your cultural heritage, and enjoy a night of amazing food, worship and ministry!
Doors will open at 6:15pm with food and fellowship, and ministry will begin promptly at 7pm.
The event is free, however, registration is required. Gather some friends and register today at Radiant Friendsgiving
