You might be seeing this and saying, "Wow! It's been a while since the last blog post." I believe we all face a moment where life ramps up and you have to decide what is essential, because you just aren't going to be able to do everything. And that's what happened to me.
Looking at it from this side though – I made it! I got through it. Was it a pleasant experience, no, but it wasn't a bad experience either. It was challenging, but how many of you have felt that way when you finished a difficult test?
James 1:3 (AMPC) says, "Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience."
Many times when its time to ramp up to another level, to enlarge our capacity for what God has for us, to STRETCHHHHH, it also means its time for our faith to be tested!! But here's the good news! You wouldn't be going through the "test", if the "TEACHER" (aka the Holy Spirit) didn't believe you were ready!!
So trust in this, you are equipped, you are ready, and you are going to make it. BUT, if for some very strange reason you don't, remember what Sister Gloria Copeland says, "God has every answer for every test we face, in His Word. All we have to do is go to the Holy Bible, open it up, find the answer and take a few simple steps to solve every problem." What are those steps? - Thursday, August 8th is our Radiant Movie Night. Gather your friends and join us at 6:30 pm in the Chapel for our Radiant Movie Night, featuring Unsung Hero! - Saturday, August 10th is our Advancing in Faith group. This group is using Brother Kenneth E. Hagin’s study guide, Bible Faith! We meet every 2nd & 4th Saturday of the month in the Living Room modular at 9 am. This group is also available online via Zoom.
- Sunday, August 11th is our Marriage Re-Envisioned group for single women. Come join us as we learn the essentials of preparing for marriage. Whether you are single, divorced, or widowed we have a place for you! We meet every 2nd Sunday right after service in SLC Classroom B. You may bring a lunch with you.
- Monday, August 12th is our weekly Radiant Discipleship group led by Pastor Cathy Grigg. Join us as we study Dr. Bill Winston's teaching on Living In The Fourth Dimension! We meet at 12:15 pm in the Hospitality Room. This group is also available via Zoom! Click here to register!
- Tuesday, August 13th is our Growing From Glory to Glory group. A time to enjoy the Word of God, good teaching, and light refreshments with other women of EMIC. They meet every 2nd & 4th Tuesdays at 12:15 pm & 5:30pm in the Hospitality Room.
- Thursday, August 15th is our Radiant Women's Business group at 7pm in the Living Room modular. Topic: Vision! Come stir up the vision inside of you as we discuss all things vision at this meeting. This will be a great time to check in on your goals and vision for 2024.
