Prayer Everywhere – February 9th

Hello Pray-ers! We’re already off to a great start this year. If you were at the New Year’s Eve Service with Brother Copeland, you know that it was a powerful time! Brother Copeland delivered the Word of the Lord for the new year, and we are running with it in prayer. If you weren’t able to make it, go to the following link:

In this message, Brother Copeland spoke about putting the Word of God first place and making it Final Authority. We have taken this Word to the prayer place. At the start of this year, the Lord gave Ms. Iva Bennett, our Prayer Director, a Word concerning the application of Brother Copeland’s Word from the Lord. The Lord told her we must eliminate the “distractions of this age.” According to Mark 4:19 (AMPC), “the cares and anxieties of the world and distractions of the age…creep in and choke and suffocate the Word, and it becomes fruitless.” Eliminating all the distractions of this age will make room for revelation of the Word to go forth.

Ms. Iva said that revelation is embedded in one seed of the Word. The seed of revelation from the Word of God produces words with power that can change and rearrange situations. These words spoken through revelation bring us up to the next level, giving us greater authority and power. We can use this power to speak and declare what we desire to see for our Nation and the Body of Christ.

This type of effectual prayer has taken place during our Sunday Pre-Service Prayer. We have been praying for an Awakening to Righteousness in this Nation as well as for truth and justice to reign supreme. We have also prayed that our Pastors and Leaders have utterance to make prophetic declarations over the Body of Christ. According to Luke 4:21 (MSG), we believe that their words will make history as they speak.

We encourage you to join us as we pray over the Nation, the Body of Christ, and the local Body here at EMIC. You can do this by connecting with us through our various prayer groups. Please see below for details regarding our featured group, Pre-Service Prayer:
