January 2021 Letter from Pastor George Pearsons
Welcome to the new year!
I have an extremely high expectation of what we will experience this year. Together, let’s determine to stay in a place of strong faith. The LORD has amazing plans for this year. You and I are going to walk out every step of His perfect will.
Pastor Terri and I are so thankful for your faithfulness to EMIC. We love you and are praying for you every day, believing that God will keep you safe and protected and that, according to His Word in Philippians 4:19, The Passion Translation, He will “fully satisfy every need you have.”
We have been blessed by words from The LORD that have been given to us through the prophets. I call these words “Marching Orders.” Second Chronicles 20:20, New King James Version, says, “Believe in The LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.”
Here are a few 2021 words from The LORD to stand on this year.
As I was praying over this new year, The LORD led me to this scripture in Hebrews 13:20-21. I did not realize what it was saying until I typed the reference. I got so excited when I looked at it! Read what the Scriptures says in the Amplified Bible, Classic Edition:
“Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament), strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages). Amen (so be it).”
On Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019, at 8:03 in the morning, I received the following text message from Brother Copeland: “I received a word from The LORD during the night. Call me now, or after church.”
Forget after church, I thought. I called him immediately, and this is what Brother Copeland said to me: “I was up praying in the middle of the night and heard this: 2021 is the Year of the Local Church. Healing revivals will break out in local churches all over America.”
How significant that word is today in light of so many churches being shut down. On the contrary, churches will be rising up and taking their place in our communities, and in the nation. The most powerful moves of God will be taking place in the local church.
Brother Copeland received another word regarding the year 2021 on
Dec. 6, 2020. He said 2021 will be a year of Divine Healing, Divine Health, Divine Prosperity and Divine Recovery. The scripture The LORD gave him is Isaiah 42:22. The New King James Version says, “But this is a people robbed and plundered; All of them are snared in holes, and they are hidden in prison houses; they are for prey, and no one delivers; for plunder, and no one says, ‘RESTORE!’”
Then, Brother Copeland said, “JESUS IS SHOUTING, ‘RECOVER!’” Recovery of the healing ministry. Recovery of health. Recovery of prosperity. Praise God!
Every fall, The LORD speaks to Jerry Savelle regarding the upcoming year. This year has been no different. Read this encouraging word and believe it with all your heart:
Don’t fear the future because it’s still bright. And I’ll see you through each and every fight. So stay in faith and watch what you say. Speak only My Word, and I’ll have My way.
It’s never My will for you to fail.
It’s always My will for you to prevail.
So don’t be moved by what you hear and see. This is how you enter into greater victories.
Be bold and courageous and stay free from all fear. For 2021 is going to turn out to be a great year.
I’ll take you higher than you’ve ever been before. This is my promise, and My promises are sure.
So stay in My Word and rest in Me. For this is your year to be totally free!
“Father, we receive this word from Your heart. We believe that our 2021 will be just as You have said. Thank You for the victory in this year. Thank You for the glory that is being poured out upon us. Your Glory is Your presence that is heavy with everything good. Thank You for the outpouring that is taking place in our church, and in churches around the world. In Jesus’ Name we pray!”
Praising God for an Awesome Year!
