From: Believer’s Voice of Victory TV broadcast with Pastors George and Terri Copeland Pearsons
Airing: July 3-14
“Bulldog Faith” is a most important subject to teach. That is why The LORD led Pastor Terri and me to share this subject on upcoming Believer’s Voice of Victory broadcasts. We will also be joined each day by graduates and leaders from Kenneth Copeland Bible College®—a Bible college that specializes in Bulldog Faith!
Bulldog Faith won’t give up, quit or let go. It is the kind of faith that aggressively believes
for, and receives, harvest from seed that has been sown. For instance, you need to aggressively
receive the harvest from every seed you have ever sown into the ministry. Don’t give up on your
harvest! Stay strong and firm on the fact that the hundredfold return is yours. Bite down on that
promise, and don’t let go until you see the desired results.
Bulldogs are very interesting animals. They are bred so that their lower jaws jut forward
and their noses are indented. The purpose for that is so they can bite down on something and
keep breathing until it is theirs completely.
We must do the same thing.
We must “bite down” on The WORD of God on which we are standing and keep breathing
until it is totally ours!
“Bite down” on 1 Peter 2:24, until healing is manifested.
“Bite down” on Philippians 4:19, until every need is fully supplied.
“Bite down” on 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 until Love becomes the only way you live, think and breathe.
Bulldog Faith says, “God’s WORD is mine, NOW. Devil, you can’t take it away from me. Be
assured, when this is over, I WIN! GRRRRRRRR!!!!!”
Mark 11:22-24 describes how aggressive faith really is:
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That
whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea;
and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall
come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things
soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
The Greek word for receive in verse 24 actually means “to take.” It is something taken with
much force and seized with a grip that can’t be shaken off.
Sounds like a bulldog to me!
We must have the same kind of Bulldog Faith that one historic bulldog had. Winston Churchill
was persistent, tenacious and determined. When he became prime minister of England, Germany’s
military was closing in on all of Europe—with England in its sights. On June 4, 1940, the eve of the fall of France, Churchill told the House of Commons:
Even though large tracts of Europe…have fallen or may fall…we shall not flag or fail.
We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in France; we shall fight on the seas and
oceans…. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds; we
shall fight in the fields and in the streets. We shall fight in the hills. We shall NEVER
surrender….1
Everywhere Churchill went, he held up two fingers in a “V” shape for victory. To the people
of the allied nations, this simple gesture became an inspiring symbol of faith for eventual victory.
Germany finally surrendered on May 7, 1945, almost five years after Churchill spoke those words.
A little over a year after His inspiring June 4, 1940 speech, Churchill said:
Never give in—never, never, never, except to convictions of honor and good sense.2
What are you believing for today? What is your vision? Keep standing on The WORD,
confessing The WORD and believing The WORD. Keep the spiritual pressure on the devil until the
answer comes.
If you are willing to walk in “Bulldog Faith”—if you’re willing to be aggressive, you will
overcome. If you are willing to persistently, tenaciously and determinedly stand forever, it won’t
take long to achieve the desired results.
Matthew 11:12 says, “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of
heaven sufferers violence, and the violent take it by force” (New King James Version).
Biting down on The WORD like a bulldog,
Pastor George
