When It Comes to Healing, We Must Be Aggressive!

Raised by Glory, no date

I am so excited about the move of God at EMIC—and worldwide! The glory of God is being poured out on all flesh everywhere. The glory is here. And, no matter what you see on the news, start declaring: “The glory is there! The glory is there!”

Are you believing God for healing?

Let me share something that will help you receive. Mark 10:46-52 (AMP), is the account of Bartimaeus, the blind beggar, who daily took up his position at the side of the road. When he heard Jesus was walking by, he shouted, “Jesus, have mercy on me, NOW!” That sounds a little demanding, doesn’t it? The crowd reacted and told him to be quiet, but he only shouted louder: “Son of David, have mercy on me, NOW!”

Verse 49 says that when Jesus heard Bartimaeus, He stood still. Aggressive faith stops Jesus in His tracks! In response, Jesus basically said, “Come, and get it!” When the crowd told Bartimaeus Jesus was calling for him, he threw off his beggar’s garment, jumped up and came to Jesus.

Jesus asked, “What do you want Me to do for you?”

Bartimaeus answered, “I want to see, right now!”

Jesus said, “Your faith has made you whole.” Verse 52 says, “Immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way” (King James Version).

WOW! What just happened? Aggressive faith just happened.

The aggressive approach Bartimaeus took was the key to his healing. He came right up to Jesus and grabbed on to his healing with an aggressive faith. He took what rightfully belonged to him: “It’s God’s will for me to be healed. Jesus is here. I am taking it right now! I refuse to pass up this opportunity. I don’t care what anybody thinks. Healing is mine, and I’m taking it, RIGHT NOW!” He didn’t hesitate, waver, wonder or fear. He came boldly to the throne and took it!

That’s exactly the way you and I need to be. “Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace” (Hebrews 4:16, AMP).

When it comes to healing, we MUST be aggressive.

God has done His part. Jesus paid the price for our healing. Now, it’s time to do our part. Mark 11:24 says, “What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” The word receive in the Greek means to “seize and take with a grip that can’t be shaken off.” I call that “bulldog faith.” We boldly take our healing by declaring what’s ours in Christ. We don’t let go until the healing has fully manifested.

If you’re standing for your healing, declare this out loud: “Father, I aggressively take my healing. I boldly say that I am healed by the stripes of Jesus. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead now dwells in me and is making alive my mortal flesh. Resurrection life is alive in me. I aggressively take it by faith, in Jesus’ Name!”

Standing boldly in faith,

Pastor George
