Let’s begin with a New Year’s Prayer.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with a deep reverence as we commit this new year to honor You. We will do everything this year for Your glory. We determine to be led by the Holy Spirit in every decision we make. We consecrate ourselves to Your perfect will. We only do what we see the Father do and only say what we hear the Father say. Our greatest desire is to please You, to serve You and to love one another as You love us. Our heart’s desire is to be totally conformed to the image of Jesus—to walk like Him, talk like Him and emulate Him in every possible way. Thank You for helping us to accomplish this in our lives. Use us to bring glory to Your kingdom, souls to the throne and love to this world. In the precious Name of Jesus. Amen.
I am believing, right along with you, that everything that we just prayed will happen in 2012. You are such a blessing to Terri and me, and to the life of EMIC.
In recent months, we have been given important prophetic insights relating to this new year. These insights are the fulfillment of a promise we were given in John 16:13. “When he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.”
Here are some highlights of the prophetic words that came through Brother Copeland concerning 2012. If you would like these prophecies in their entirety, you may download them at emic.org. During the 2011 Autumn Assembly of Prayer in Branson, Mo., the Lord said, “The flood is on!” He told us that, “There is an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that is underway right now. Right now, all over this land. The flood is on…and My Spirit is moving in places where the devil doesn’t want it to be…. And the glory of the Lord shall shine round about and the glory of the Lord will be in places that you and most other people had no idea that it would ever shine.”
Praise God for the flood of the Holy Spirit all over the world!
Just a few weeks later, the Lord spoke again through Brother Copeland during the Washington, D.C. Victory Campaign, saying, “What about 2012? What does it hold? What is in store?” Five specific areas were revealed:
- “I have a great storehouse. Much more has been stored up in the storehouse of riches beyond your wildest dream, that I laid up for you before the foundation of the world. Much more is stored up there than what the Church has ever called for…. There is a people strong and mighty, growing…more bold to lay hold and put their claim of faith on the things that I have laid up for you, and it thrills me, saith the Lord, because it’s been yours all the time.”
- “2012 is a year full of surprises…. Your surprises will come as suddenlies.”
- “It is going to be a year of great joy for those who know joy. It’ll be a time of marvelous breakthroughs. This is a time of victory…. So rejoice and shout and understand that the breakthroughs that you have sought and watched over, prayed over, stood in faith for, are…right at hand. They are right on top of you, right now. Praise God!”
- “It’s God’s nation, and we are right where we are supposed to be. He has us right where He wants us, and our future is bright because God is still Lord over the United States of America.”
- “2012 is a time of miracles—miracles that seemed as if they would not come—but they’re here. There is an atmosphere conducive to miracles that’s been growing and growing and will manifest greatly in the first quarter of 2012 and continue throughout the year, and on into 2013.”
Brother Copeland has also said, by the Holy Spirit, that 2012 will be a time of great opportunities. For those that are in THE BLESSING and seeking first the kingdom of God, living by faith and walking in love, it will be a time of great wealth. For this is the time that God needs you and me BLESSED—right in the middle of all this chaos.”
Go back to the New Year’s Eve service, online, and listen to Brother Copeland expound on the great things that are going to take place this year. Believe them. Walk in them. Have faith that God is totally for us, and all of heaven’s resources are available to help us usher in the coming of the Lord Jesus.
