Men, the Greek word for Glory is Doxa. It means: magnificence, resulting in praise and honor, splendor, excellence, preeminence, dignity, and kingly majesty. All of God’s essence is contained in His glory. This includes His character, His nature, His power and His splendor.
That same glory, the essence of God is manifested in Jesus Himself. Read here what Colossians 1:15-18, Hebrews 1:3 and Revelation 21:23 says about Jesus.
Hebrews 1:3 He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
Col 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or [a]principalities or [b]powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
Rev 21:23 And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb.
Here is where it gets really exciting! Let’s look at what Jesus said about us during His prayer in John 17:22.
John 17:22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one
Jesus has given us the same glory that God the Father has given to Him! The same magnificence, resulting in praise and honor, splendor, excellence, preeminence, dignity, and kingly majesty! We have to receive the revelation of His glory on us by faith in order to walk in the same authority from that same heavenly place that we are seated together in with Christ Jesus.
Notice that John 17:22 states that the glory Jesus has given us has a purpose. That purpose is that we may be one in the same way that Jesus and the Father are one. We move in unity of the Spirit by the glory of God.
Ephesian 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
As carriers of the glory of God walking in unity – AS ONE, we reflect the image and power of God. That kingly majesty of God on us gives us authority over all the works of the enemy. Favor, power, health and prosperity are resident in His glory despite the rising darkness all over the world.
Isaiah 60:2 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
This is why we must abide in His Word! Transformation into the image of God comes from revelation of the glory of God in His Word. When we see Him in His Word we become more like Him from ever increasing splendor to ever increasing splendor and from glory to glory!
EPHESIANS 3:18 And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.
Men, lets continue to join our faith, together by the glory of God believing for the 7 rewards of the fast:
Confession over the 7 Rewards of the Fast
Father, we ask for a mighty and sustained manifestation of Your wonderful glory in this current season; manifesting Your majestic presence, Your awesome power, Your extravagant goodness that brings:
1. An awakening to You in the body of Christ; waking us out of our apathy, complacency and lethargy!
2. An awakening to You in Israel – the apple of Your eye!
3. An awakening to You in the United States and the nations! As we agree with our founding fathers that we are one nation under the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and George Washington with Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
4. Godly results in all elections in 2024; that they be free of all fraud, deceit and immoral manipulation; and that righteous candidates will win the hearts of the voters
5. Breakthroughs of growth, prosperity, influence and favor for KCM, EMIC, KCBC and the Victory Channel
6. Personal breakthroughs (answers, direction and clarity) for every member and partner of this ministry
7. And complete preparation in spirit, soul and body for all that is coming.
