Receive Resurrection Life!

The glory is here! We are in the time of the last outpouring of the Holy Spirit before the coming of Jesus, and are in the midst of fabulous outpourings from heaven. These are days of heaven on earth. What a time to be alive in Christ!

Pastor Terri and I appreciate you so much! Thank you for your amazing supply of the spirit that has been such a BLESSING to EMIC. We are believing with you for the fulfillment of Jerry Savelle’s word from The LORD that declares, There is a level of prosperity that you have never known, nor even hoped for. But I am empowering all those who dare believe that it is available. And, I will show them how to tap into it, and it will begin to manifest in their lives this year. Say out loud, “I believe I receive the new level of prosperity in my life!”

We will be celebrating the resurrection of our LORD Jesus at EMIC on Sunday, April 16. On that day, we will be expecting signs, wonders and miraculous signs of God’s power to manifest in our service. The effects of Jesus’ resurrection should not just be seen one day of the year. We should be experiencing His resurrection life every day!

Romans 8:11 tells us, “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” The very same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is living inside us. He is the very life of God Himself. The word life in the Greek is zōē. It is the God-kind of life—charging through our very being. Also, take note that the word quicken in Romans 8:11 is the same Greek word: zōē.

When I did a study on zōē a number of years ago, I discovered something astounding. It means that God keeps on making life in our bodies because zōē is eternal, ongoing life. That resurrection life is designed to continually upgrade and renew our physical beings. If we are going to fulfill scripture and live to 120 years (Genesis 6:3), then our bodies will have to experience a continual importation of the zōē life of God.

Because of His resurrection life in me, I am getting stronger and stronger every day. My eyes are seeing more clearly, my ears are hearing better, my mind is functioning perfectly, and every bone, organ, nerve and ligament is daily being supercharged with the glory of God!

This is my confession of faith: “The same Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead is now dwelling in me and is constantly making alive my mortal flesh (Romans 8:11). My days are being lengthened, and my youth is renewed like the eagle’s” (Psalm 103:5).

Now let’s look at Romans 8:11 in the New Living Translation: “The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.”

Resurrection life is available to all of us, but we must receive it by faith. We must embrace a daily recognition of the life of God dwelling inside us and making alive our mortal flesh. This must become a reality. We should wake up every morning and declare, “The resurrection life of God is living in me today!”

The Apostle Paul had such a deep passion to know this resurrection power, he said in Philippians 3:10:

[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers] (The Amplified Bible, Classic Edition).

“Father, in the Name of Jesus, we receive Your resurrection life. The glory of God is dwelling in us today. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is making alive our mortal flesh. Every sickness, disease and infirmity must leave our bodies right now. Resurrection life is driving it out. The devil was defeated the day that Jesus was raised up. Now, Jesus is continually making us alive in Him. The older we get, the stronger we become. Thank you, LORD, for Your resurrection life in us!”

Living the Resurrection Life,
Pastor George

P.S. Be sure to join us Sunday, April 16, for our Resurrection Day Celebration. Jesus was raised up for us. He took the keys of death, hell and the grave. Now we have joint seating with Him in the heavenly sphere. Oh, what an amazing life we live in Him!
