Men, are you leaving a legacy of faith?
On April 15, 2023, Pastor Stephen shared an important message about the generation of young adults that he pastors and the need and desire they have for discipleship and mentorship.
He described a great example throughout Acts chapter 2 and 3 with the generational difference between Peter and John and the power and miracles that happened when those two generations got together.

- Anointed Preaching of the Word
- Salvation of men and their families
- Signs, wonders and miracles
- Church growth through salvation – spiritual birth
- Lifestyle of mentorship and discipleship
These are biblical examples of the power of walking in unity with the generation of young adults.
Today, their hunger for godly examples to emulate other men and find men that will listen to them is growing as the world around them becomes more wicked and pulls on them to be caught up in deception.
1Co 11:1-2 Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ. Now I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions even as I delivered them to you.

Psalm 145:4 One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.
Men, we have to continuously remind the younger generations about how an Eternal God who spoke the universe into existence, re-set the world by a flood, parted the sea with His breath, works miracles today and will return to judge the world – is eternally more intelligent than AI, more powerful than a nuclear bomb, is the King of kings among all earthly leaders and with superseding authority over all governments is and always will be victorious and in charge and lives in us!
His Word is the only undisputed truth and final authority! We must speak the Word and speak about the Word to the generations in the same way the Lord spoke to Joshua when He reminded Joshua about the mentoring he got from Moses:
Jos 1:7-9 Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

Men, unified faith is the incubator for revival!
Let’s continue to join our faith in prayer for the Key Prayer Points below that will continue throughout the month.
- That the men of EMIC and the church at large make God’s Word final authority in 2023
- That we continue to fan the flames of revival as we contend for the glory of God
- Government leaders voted into office to lead according to Exodus 18:21
- Complete healing for our church family members that are overcoming.
- Greater health, prosperity and an increased anointing for our pastors and leaders in 2023
- Abortion to be abolished at every state level
There are active opportunities to be involved in affecting each one of these areas here at EMIC, our community, schools and patriotic involvement and through effective faith-filled prayers.
