Great is Your Faithfulness

Let’s begin this letter today by praising God for His faithfulness. He is so good to us. His intervention in our lives is always welcome and is very much needed—especially right now. But no matter what is going on around us, the faithfulness of our God will get us through anything and everything.

He is faithful to bless us beyond measure. He always supplies more than what is needed. Ephesians 3:20, Amplified Bible, Classic Edition, says, “Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask
or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams].” Pastor Terri and I are so grateful to God that you are part of EMIC, and everything we do. We thank Him for you daily, asking that He bless you to thrive and flourish. We also pray that you always have His divine healing, divine health, divine prosperity and divine recovery operating inside you. We love and appreciate you dearly.

Deuteronomy 7:9 speaks of God’s faithfulness. It says, “Therefore know that The LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments” (New King James Version). Lamentations 3:22-23 tells us, “It is of The LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”

Do you remember the old hymn? It goes like this:

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father
There is no shadow of turning with Thee
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not As Thou hast been Thou forever will be

Great is Thy faithfulness
Great is Thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies I see All I have needed Thy hand hath provided Great is Thy faithfulness, LORD, unto me

The faithfulness of God will help you with whatever situation you are going through right now. He said He would never leave us nor forsake us. If you will believe and receive the faithfulness of God, He will step in and solve theproblem, correct the situation, and deliver you out of the hand of the enemy.

First Corinthians 10:13 tells us, “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted abovethat ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” He is making a way of escape for you right now!

I have witnessed God’s faithfulness to deliver over and over again. No matter what challenge, no matter what attack comes, The LORD has been faithful to make a way of escape. He knows exactly what to do and He is able to untangle whatever mess we may have gotten ourselves into.

I have witnessed God’s faithfulness when people have attacked me. In times like those, I would just go to The LORD and tell Him, “Thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. You have helped me get out of the tightest situations— especially with people issues. You have been faithful all these years. You are faithful, and You will always be faithful. LORD, I need Your help in this situation. You knowexactly what to do to make it work out perfectly. I receive that by faith. I roll thecare of it over onto You. I trust You and believe for Your very best.”

You can pray that same prayer and receive “far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]” (Ephesians 3:20, AMPC). The LORD is just that way. He does infinitely beyond what we dare ask or think. Why? Because He is faithful. And GREAT IS HIS FAITHFULNESS!

You are free to approach God’s throne right now and receive the help you need. Hebrews 4:16, AMPC, is a picture of God’s faithfulness: “Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace…that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].”

Thank You, LORD, for Your Faithfulness!
