Don’t Get Caught Not Voting

It is finally here!

The election seemed so far away and now, it’s right around the corner. Early voting begins this month. Pastor Terri and I fully intend to exercise our God-given right to cast our votes in this most crucial presidential election.

However, this election involves much more than just the office of president of the United States. We are also looking at local, state and federal elections, voting for senators, representatives, governors, mayors, judges and a number of propositions.

We have been fervently praying over these elections, sowing seed and believing God like never before. Thank you for adding your supply of the spirit and standing in agreement with us for the Awakening in our nation and God’s perfect will for these elections.

We’re all aware of those who have been confused and angered over this presidential election. Some are dissatisfied with both candidates to the degree they are refusing to vote.

What do we say to these “no-voters”?

Read this very important word from The LORD through Kenneth Copeland. It is quite sobering:

I will, saith The LORD, hold you responsible for voting for whom I tell you to vote. And, you can’t get out of it by not voting. I will hold you responsible for voting for the wrong one if you do that.

Whom, exactly, is the wrong one?

Together, as a church, we have studied the Democratic and Republican Party platforms. We have identified which most closely aligns with God’s WORD. And, we have also identified which of the platforms runs contrary to God’s WORD.

We know which party supports abortion and same-sex marriage. And we know which one says we “applaud last year’s decision by the Supreme Court that recognized that LGBT people—like other Americans—have the right to marry the person they love.”

We discovered which of the parties has vowed to “appoint judges who defend the constitutional principles of liberty and equality for all, and will protect a woman’s right to a safe and legal abortion.”

So, here it is—plain and simple: By not voting at all, you will be held responsible for the party which stands for abortion and same-sex marriage—both acts which are in direct opposition to God’s WORD.

The word from The LORD through Kenneth Copeland continued: Those who vote for politicians, knowing their immoral policies and platforms and illegal acts had better repent. To vote for that platform is to attach yourself to it and to the judgment it holds. They are partners with those politicians and will be responsible for every baby’s death. You have taken the devil’s part by not voting at all.

By not voting, you automatically default to the party which violates Scripture.

Leviticus 20:13 says, “If a man lies with a male as if he were a woman, both men have committed an offense (something perverse, unnatural, abhorrent, and detestable)” (The Amplified Bible, Classic Edition).

Deuteronomy 30:19 says, “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live” (New King James Version).

If you have already decided not to vote, I would seriously reconsider that decision.

Voting is more of a spiritual act than you might think. Your ballot is your seed, and, seed sown will produce a harvest after its own kind. Galatians 6:7-8 declares, “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life” (NKJV).

We will answer to God for whether or not we vote, and for the party with which we align ourselves.

See you at the polls,

Pastor George

P.S. Be sure to watch two upcoming television specials on BVOVN. I will host a special election series edition of the Believer’s Voice of Victory broadcast entitled “Faith for Our Nation,” with Kenneth Copeland, Bishop Keith Butler and David Barton. It airs the two weeks before the election. Then, November 8, election night, be sure to watch “America Stands 2016—Election Coverage in the Spirit of Faith.” We will cover the election results, pray over our nation, interview special guests and receive a word from Brother Copeland. BVOVN is THE place to be on election night!
