Al Velez

Abiding in the absolute Word of God is Pastor Al’s life mission and daily endeavor. Pastor Al was born and educated in Miami, Florida and moved to Texas over 20 years ago with his amazing wife of over 30 years, Tammy, and their four incredible children, who are now grown. Pastor Al enjoys riding his horse, being active outdoors, and eating his wife’s delicious cooking.

He was recently a co-founder and COO of the first SEC registered digital security token for a blockchain based Fintech company, which began over 4 years ago. Prior to that, he spent 7 years as Executive Pastor and Men’s Pastor for The Upper Room Church in Keller, TX, where he also led regional Men’s Camps and Men’s seminars. He has helped establish and grow church infrastructures and Men’s Ministries for start-up churches and mega-churches, as well as overseas ministries.

Pastor Al has a 27-year career in corporate management, which included a position as a board officer and held VP positions for 3 Fortune 500 companies prior to answering the call of God to minister, alongside his wife, in the nations and in the local church. He also sits on the board for a church group and ministry that oversees 1600 churches in India and Africa. 

Pastor Al believes his commission is to develop leaders, serve, and foster discipleship amongst the men of EMIC. His desire is to see men grow within the mission and values of EMIC so that they may carry the torches of revival fire that will help establish our call from God to be The Revival Capital of the World. 

Pastor Al was born-again during a Carmen Concert in March of 1988 and his incredible salvation story began. He is in love with the Word of God. He taught biblical leadership application and discipleship at a Rhema Accredited Institute and have also taught and preached at pastors’ conferences and churches overseas. He joined the EMIC staff in July of 2021.

Through an uncompromising faith, Pastor Al has experienced the miraculous works and love of God and longs for men in every walk of life to do the same!
