What an exciting time it is to be alive!
Revelation is flowing. Believers are growing. We are coming closer and closer to the return of our LORD Jesus. As a result, people are being received into the family of the Body of Christ in unprecedented numbers. Jesus Is LORD from the top of this world to the bottom and all the way around the middle.
Supernatural increase and multiplication are working at full speed. And Pastor Terri and I are so grateful that, as part of EMIC, you get to experience it. We love you, and pray and thank God for you every day. We ask that He blesses you to thrive and flourish in everything you do for Him, that He keeps you safe and protected and that, in this year of divine healing, divine health, divine prosperity and divine recovery, you will receive all that He has for you—in abundance! You are truly blessed beyond measure and positioned to live in God’s overflow.
The words we speak are extremely important. Look at Proverbs 18:21. It says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” It doesn’t get any clearer than that. The kingdom of God operates on a word system. We don’t have a choice of whether or not we live by words. We do, however, have a choice of what words we live by. As for me and my household, we choose words of faith.
Ephesians 5:1 tells us that we are to be followers of God, as dear children. The Amplified Bible, Classic Edition reveals that we should, “be imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father].” When God created the universe, He spoke words of faith. He declared, “Let there be light,” and light obeyed (Genesis 1:3).
You and I are to speak just like Him. According to Genesis 2:7, “God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” God didn’t grab Adam by the shoulders and blow him up like a balloon. The breath Genesis refers to was a result of the words of faith God spoke into His man. The Jewish sages translate it in a most powerful way. They simply say God made another speaking spirit just like Himself. Man was created with God’s dominion and authority with the very same ability to speak words of faith.
When Adam fell, God didn’t throw up His hands and quit. He immediately began speaking words of faith. He used the prophets as voices of authority to reclaim His family. Over and over again they spoke words from God, proclaiming, “There is One coming!” “There is One coming!” “There is One coming!”
In spite of the apparent darkness and despair, God continued to speak. Those words of faith and life would usher Jesus into the earth to defeat satan, redeem His creation and raise them up to be seated with Him in the heavenly realm of authority.
You and I are here to fulfill the original assignment that Adam had been commissioned with. We were created in the image and the likeness of God. We have dominion and complete authority over the earth. We have been authorized to be fruitful and multiply, replenish the earth and subdue it.
How do we do that?
By speaking words of faith—JUST LIKE GOD!
• In Job 22:28, we are told that we shall decree a thing and it will be established unto us— JUST LIKE GOD!
• Romans 4:17 tells us we are to call things that be not as though they were—JUST LIKE GOD!
• Second Corinthians 4:13 says that “we having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak”—JUST LIKE GOD!
In Hebrews 11:3 we read, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” God framed the worlds through His words. Now, it is our turn. We are to frame our worlds—our lives, our health, our prosperity, our children, our nation, the very same way. We are the prophets of our own lives. Our words of faith determine our future, our health, our wealth and our place in eternity.
The word power in Proverbs 18:21 is translated hand. God has turned all of His speaking authority into the hands of our words. We are the mouthpieces of The WORD of His power with which God intended to control and uphold all things.
Get in agreement with what God has already said about you, and boldly speak those words over your life. Speak The WORD only and you will see mountains move!
