Speak Words of Faith—JUST LIKE GOD!

Eagle Mountain International Church • March 20, 2018

What an exciting time to be alive!

It truly is the Year of the Holy Ghost and Fire.

Revelation is flowing. Believers are growing. We are coming closer and closer to the return of our LORD Jesus. As a result, people are being received into the family of the Body of Christ in unprecedented numbers. And, Jesus is LORD, from the top of this world to the bottom, and all the way around!

You and I are thriving and flourishing in everything we do for the Kingdom. Supernatural increase and multiplication is working at full speed. THE BLESSING is upon us, and the Garden of Eden is being established wherever we go. It’s harvest time! Believe for and receive the hundredfold return on all you sow, and say this out loud with all the faith in your heart: “Every bill is paid, every need is met, every debt is removed—with more than enough left over!”

Remember that the words we speak are vital to our future. Look at Proverbs 18:21: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” It doesn’t get any clearer than that.

The kingdom of God operates on a word system. We don’t have a choice of whether we live by words, but we do have a choice of what words we live by. As for me and my household, we are choosing words of faith and words of life!

Ephesians 5:1 tells us we are to be “followers of God, as dear children.” The Amplified Bible, Classic Edition reveals that we should “be imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father].” When God created the universe, He did it by speaking words of faith. He declared, “LIGHT BE!,” and light obeyed (Genesis 1:3)! You and I are to speak just like Him.

According to Genesis 2:7, “God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” The breath that Genesis is referring to here, was the result of the words of faith God spoke into His man. The Jewish sages write that God made man “a speaking spirit” just like Himself. Man was created with God’s dominion and authority, with the very same ability to speak words of faith.

When Adam fell, God didn’t throw up His hands and quit. He immediately began speaking words of faith. He used the prophets as divine mouthpieces to speak words that would reclaim His family: “There is One coming.” “There is One coming.” Over and over, they spoke words given to them by God. Despite apparent darkness and despair, God continued speaking of the One to come, through the mouths of His prophets. Those words of faith eventually ushered Jesus into the earth to defeat Satan, redeem His Creation and raise them up to be seated with Him in the heavenly realm of authority.

You and I are here to fulfill the original assignment. We were created in the image and likeness of God. We have dominion and complete authority over the earth and are authorized to be fruitful and multiply, replenish the earth and subdue it. The word subdue means, “If it gets out of line, put it back!” How do we do that?

Through the words of faith we speak—JUST LIKE GOD!

We are told in Job 22:28 that we shall decree a thing and it will be established unto us—JUST LIKE GOD!

We are told in Romans 4:17 that we are to call things that be not as though they were—JUST LIKE GOD!

We are told in 2 Corinthians 4:13 that “we having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak”—JUST LIKE GOD!

God framed the worlds through His words. Now, it is our turn. We are to frame our worlds—our lives, our health, our prosperity, our children, our nation—the very same way. We are the prophets of our own lives. Our words of faith and life determine our future, health, wealth and place in eternity.

As we saw earlier, Proverbs 18:21 declares that “death and life are in the power of the tongue.” The word power in this verse is translated “hand.” God has turned all His speaking authority into the hands of our words. We are the mouthpiece of The WORD of His power i the earth (Hebrews 1:3). The Church is the upholding force in the earth!

Get in agreement with what God has already said about you, and speak it in faith over your life. Speak The WORD only, and you will see the mountains in your life move. Put words of faith in your mouth, and see the difference it makes!

Declaring The WORD with you,

Pastor George

Biblical word definitions in the Greek and in Hebrew often reveal different intended descriptions than what we translate in our own English language definitions. One example of that is believing that kindness reflects niceness or niceties in the Bible and attaching that description to the character of Jesus. The problem with that is that there is no scripture identifying Jesus as nice but instead – kind. Kindness in the Greek is the word “chrestos” which is defined as: fit for use and virtuous. “Or do you not presume on the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance” Romans 2:4 ESV The kindness of God has a goal: to develop you, transform you, correct you and empower you. Kindness teaches but niceness appeases. If Jesus wanted to be nice, He would have calmed the storm before He asked Peter to step out of the boat and walk on the water. Instead, it was the kindness of Jesus extending His hand to Peter for the purpose of developing his faith during the storm. “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8 ESV We can see here that justice and humility are grouped with kindness. Being nice can subvert justice from a place of not getting involved but kindness demands action for the greater good. Please see the men’s breakfast video and Ps. “The chaos of the end times will require the spiritual focus of disciplined men” -Ps. Al Men, during our March Men’s Breakfast we discussed the need to increase good godly habits in order to grow as men of God so that we will better hear Him and take on His image. “A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls.” Proverbs 25:28 ESV Developing a disciplined life requires us to not just stop doing unfruitful things but also filling those voids with doing things that edify and mature you in Christ. 7 Holy Habits (disciplines) to grow into Mature Manhood Increase your daily intake of God’s Word.
