PUT YOUR ANGELS TO WORK!
Over the last few days, the LORD has been turning my attention to the subject of angels. I can hear Brother Copeland’s voice in my ears right now: “DON’T FORGET ABOUT YOUR ANGELS!”
Angels are a gift from God to help us make it through these last days. Hebrews 1:14 says, “Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?”
As born-again, Spirit-filled believers, we are heirs of salvation. And our angels play a very important part in our prosperity.
Pastor Terri and I pray for you every day, thanking God that you are part of the Eagle Mountain International Church family, and asking that He BLESS you bountifully and give you the desires of your heart, according to His planned purpose for your life. We release our faith with yours that whatever need you have is already supplied, every debt is canceled, and that you have more than enough so that you can be a BLESSING to others.
Hebrews 2:1–3 admonishes us to not neglect our angels.
It says, “Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard (about angels), lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the WORD spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward; how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation.”
The following is a portion taken from Brother Copeland’s March 2016 Partner Letter:
“Don’t forget about your angels. Everyone has at least one. The more engaged you and I are in the plans and workings of God, AND the more obedient we are to put His WORD first place, the more angels will be assigned to us to carry out all God has commanded us to do.
God told Moses in Exodus 23:20–23: ‘Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him… provoke him not.’
Now, notice the very important thing He said in verse 22: ‘But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries. For my Angel shall go before thee….’
Let’s look at Psalm 103:20: ‘Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his WORD.’ This is part of our benefits as joint heirs with Jesus.
Notice what God’s angels do. Not only do they excel in strength, but they do His commandments. They do what God has told them to do, ‘hearkening unto the voice of His WORD.’ Well, by faith we are that voice. When we confess and stand on His WORD by faith, as final authority in our lives—spirit, soul, body, financially and socially—that puts us in a place of protection called the Secret Place of the Most High God.
How do I get in there? Verse 2 tells us: ‘I will say of the LORD.’
Do you see it? Faith-filled words dominate the laws of sin and death. The angels of God hear your voice and respond accordingly. Verse 11 says, ‘For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.’ Notice that verse begins with the word for, indicating that all the protections God promised in the previous verses (3–10) are carried out by those angels that have been given charge over us.
Then verse 12 says, ‘They [the angels] shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.’ That is talking about all these protections—that invisible shield around you and me because we live by faith.”
An angel came because of the words that Daniel spoke. We see it clearly in Daniel 10:10–12 (Amplified Bible, Classic Edition):
“And behold, a hand touched me, which set me [unsteadily] upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. And [the angel] said to me, O Daniel, you greatly beloved man, understand the words that I speak to you and stand upright, for to you I am now sent. And while he was saying this word to me, I stood up trembling.
Then he said to me, Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your mind and heart to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come as a consequence of [and in response to] your words.”
Angels have been assigned to us. Put them to work. They are waiting for our command. When our words agree with God’s WORD, we release our angels to go and accomplish what we have spoken.
Say this:
“Father, I release my angels and put them to work right now. Angels, go get my harvest and bring it to me. Angels, protect me wherever I go. Angels, go before me and make my way clear. Angels, deliver my family and me. I receive it done, in Jesus’ Name!”
