Blessed Beyond Measure

Eagle Mountain International Church • November 2, 2016

Praise The LORD for the move of God we are presently experiencing!

The Spirit of God is being poured out on all flesh. Everyone, everywhere is seeing demonstrations of signs, wonders and miracles. The WORD is being preached like never before. It is revival time at EMIC!

Thank you being such a vital part of this outpouring. Your supply is deeply appreciated. We are blessed you are part of our EMIC family. We are standing in agreement together for supernatural increase. Psalm 115:14 tells us, “The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.” Bills are being paid in full. Needs are being completely supplied. Debts are being wiped out. Believe and receive the overwhelming goodness of God. You are blessed beyond measure!

What does it mean to be “blessed beyond measure”?

Ephesians 3:20 in The Amplified Bible, Classic Edition reveals that God “is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams].” This scripture paints a picture of a limitless, infinite supply available to each of us. The LORD desires to do for us beyond our highest expectations.

“Beyond measure” indicates something that is immeasurable—too large, extensive or extreme to calculate. Think about counting grains of sand or stars in the night sky, as God asked Abram to do. There were too many to count. That’s how God wants to bless us.

To be blessed beyond measure is to experience the extreme goodness of God.

Look at Psalm 31:19. “How great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you, which you bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in you” (New International Version-84). The goodness of God represents everything He is, everything He has and everything He desires to do for us. He wants to overwhelm us with His infinite goodness. The word for goodness in the Hebrew means, “prosperity, good things and property.”

Think for a moment about the greatest good God could do for you. Is that image firmly fixed in your mind? Well, God’s goodness is greater still!

No matter how wonderful your greatest imagination might be, God wants to do infinitely more. Psalm 23:5-6 (New King James Version) says, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of The LORD forever.” Shout out loud, “My cup runs over!”

Why do our cups run over? It is because we are heirs to a fortune.

I became heir to a fortune in 1972 when I gave my life to Jesus. At that moment, I was born again into the richest family ever known. I was born into the “Royal Family” that owns and operates the entire universe. I received an inheritance so vast, it will take all of eternity to fully comprehend it.

If you are born again you, too, are a part of this “Royal Family.”

We are heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus (Romans 8:17). Hebrews 1:2 says that Jesus was appointed heir of all things. If He is heir of all things, and we are joint heirs with Him, that makes us heirs of all things, as well. We have inherited everything Jesus inherited.

We are not blessed beyond measure just to hoard it. Our motivation for accumulation is distribution. First Peter 2:9 says, “You are a kingdom of priests, God’s holy nation, his very own possession. This is so you can show others the goodness of God, for He called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light” (New Living Translation-96).

See yourself blessing others beyond measure. Begin by seeing yourself making a mortgage payment on someone’s house. Then, see yourself paying off that person’s entire mortgage! Enlarge your faith beyond just receiving God’s goodness for your own life. Get to the place where you are giving His goodness to others.

“Father, thank You for blessing us beyond measure, above all that we can dare ask or think. We freely receive Your goodness from Your riches in glory. You have given us access to all You have, and we see ourselves giving to others. We are able to bless others beyond measure. We believe we receive this, in Jesus’ Name!”

Blessed beyond measure with you!

Pastor George

Biblical word definitions in the Greek and in Hebrew often reveal different intended descriptions than what we translate in our own English language definitions. One example of that is believing that kindness reflects niceness or niceties in the Bible and attaching that description to the character of Jesus. The problem with that is that there is no scripture identifying Jesus as nice but instead – kind. Kindness in the Greek is the word “chrestos” which is defined as: fit for use and virtuous. “Or do you not presume on the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance” Romans 2:4 ESV The kindness of God has a goal: to develop you, transform you, correct you and empower you. Kindness teaches but niceness appeases. If Jesus wanted to be nice, He would have calmed the storm before He asked Peter to step out of the boat and walk on the water. Instead, it was the kindness of Jesus extending His hand to Peter for the purpose of developing his faith during the storm. “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8 ESV We can see here that justice and humility are grouped with kindness. Being nice can subvert justice from a place of not getting involved but kindness demands action for the greater good. Please see the men’s breakfast video and Ps. “The chaos of the end times will require the spiritual focus of disciplined men” -Ps. Al Men, during our March Men’s Breakfast we discussed the need to increase good godly habits in order to grow as men of God so that we will better hear Him and take on His image. “A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls.” Proverbs 25:28 ESV Developing a disciplined life requires us to not just stop doing unfruitful things but also filling those voids with doing things that edify and mature you in Christ. 7 Holy Habits (disciplines) to grow into Mature Manhood Increase your daily intake of God’s Word.
