About Peter Henneberry
Peter Henneberry was raised in an east-coast Acadian Canadian fishing village. At age 14, while at a Pentecostal Holiness summer camp, Peter received Jesus as his savior and a call of God into the ministry. Peter graduated from Rhema in 1985, then returned to Canada to be a Youth Pastor, followed by Associate Pastor while attaining his Doctorate degree. Peter then pioneering two churches, both flourishing ministries today.
Peter was asked to join the staff of a mega church in Arizona. Using his warm and dynamic leadership ability, he spearheaded several new directives to provide discipleship and life-changing connections within the ministry and God. Peter is passionate about equipping individuals to succeed in life and realizes it is done with God’s Word and requires stepping out in faith to overcome in life.
In early 2020, Peter sensed a change coming, and by early fall, the steps unfolded to have Peter join EMIC as the Groups Pastor. Peter focuses with the other EMIC ministers to champion your growth in Christ by strategically developed Groups, providing the tools and support to take your God-given faith to an ever-increasing level.
Life scripture: Joshua 24:15; (GNT)
“If you are not willing to serve him, decide today whom you will serve, the gods your ancestors worshiped in Mesopotamia or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are now living. As for my family and me, we will serve the LORD."
Peter says, “That’s a verse I’ve had engraved on my chest. Well, not literally, but it does mean so much to me. I think it's really interesting that Joshua tells them to choose, and I’ve taken the stance to daily choose to follow God.”
