About Kelsey Sturm
My name is Kelsey Sturm. I am the wife of Pastor Blake Sturm, the only daughter of my parents, sister to three brothers and aunt to a niece and a nephew. I am so in love with Jesus and long to please Him in everything I do! I really enjoy spontaneous adventures like going to new places and trying new things. Whatever I am doing, whether it is painting or writing, I’m probably jamming out to music, especially worship.
I am the “brain” of 14forty, according to Pastor John. I am privileged to help make the vision of 14forty come to life through event and service planning along with coordinating the administrative details of the ministry. I also assist my husband in pastoring the junior high students. I am passionate about ministering the Love of God to the next generation!
I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and I grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin (Yes, I like cheese, and yes, I like the Packers). When I was 12 years old, the Lord called me into the ministry, and I began to pursue that calling in 2010 by attending Oral Roberts University. Friends at ORU introduced me to the teachings of Brother Copeland, Keith Moore, Kenneth Hagi and others. In 2013, I came to EMIC to complete an internship with 14forty as a part of my education at ORU. When I finished classes in December, I returned to work on staff at the church.
