About Janet Ainsworth
I am a child of the King. I am your sister in Christ. I am a mother of two beautiful people, my son Eddie my daughter Angela, and I am truly blessed to have had my children influenced by my walk with Christ and by the teaching and discipleship of the Eagle family.
I am honored to occupy the seat of Church Receptionist, which allows me to serve our congregation and the entire staff of EMIC for the purposes of the Kingdom of God.
I was born in Connecticut and grew up in a small house with 8 siblings. I received Jesus as my Lord at an early age and began a deeper relationship with Christ during my first days at EMIC in 1999.
The door the Lord opened as through at EMIC led to an opportunity of mentorship for ministry with an anointed woman of God who is now a dear friend. Ginger Zeigler. The ministry training I received worked in tandem with being on staff for three world-reaching ministries including KCM for eight years.
I have served the Lord in many capacities, the most rewarding and fruitful of which is being a minister of the gospel to women and children incarcerated in the Texas prisons.
“Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.” Psalm 84:10
