About Brittney Jester

Email address:
Official title: Assistant Music Minister

I am blessed to carry many titles that play a part in shaping my identity: daughter, sister, wife, mother, spiritual mom, worship leader, mentor, pastor, teacher, and friend. However, none of those pieces can be fully formed without the best identity marker of them all: Daughter of the Most High. I am truly thankful to have a strong foundation of faith and the Word in my life. What a joy to serve the King in every area of your life!

I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where my parents were college and career ministers throughout my childhood. I am grateful to have been raised in an atmosphere that showed that your church is a part of your family and how to be a blessing to others. I cannot remember a time without worship music being a huge influence in shaping who I am. I begin to lift up a shout of praise before I could even say the lyrics! On July 24, 1997, at 14 years old, I made Jesus my Lord! Hallelujah! I took my first full-time assignment of leading worship in 1999 at the age of 16 as the worship leader for my Christian high school and church youth group. The Lord has blessed me with continued open opportunities since that moment where I dedicated my life to serving him in ministry. In 2007, I married a called, equipped, and anointed man of God named John Jester. The Lord has blessed us with five children and a multitude of spiritual children. Wow, what a blessed journey he has taken us on! We have been partners in ministry in the areas of youth, worship, children’s, college and career, college athletics, evangelism, and outreach. The Lord called us to step out in a faith journey in 2013 and brought us to Eagle Mountain International Church February of 2014. What an honor to be a part of the Revival Capital of the World!!

I joined the Eagle Mountain Church staff in October 2014. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Music Minister at Eagle Mountain International Church. My duties include the administration, planning, producing, and leading of worship at EMIC. There are so many places that I get to help support worship ministry throughout our church. From children’s choir to Women’s Bible study, we all have one common goal, to lift up the name of the Lord and draw closer to Him.
